When Did Freedom Become So Complicated?

And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It is my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today. The title of the show today is going to be, When Did Freedom Get So Complicated?

[00:00:54] And as I sat down here, and I was looking at that, and I was thinking about the prayer we're going to get started with, I was thinking, you know, aren't we thankful that God's love is not complicated? We try to make it that way, but it really isn't. We just accept it. Accept that the Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior. For such a time as this, most gracious Heavenly Father, we thank you that your love and your gospel, the good news, is not complicated.

[00:01:25] Oh, how we try to make it that way. Father, may we have open hearts, open minds, eyes that see, ears that hear, and feet that walk swiftly to do your will. Thank you, Father, for your love that is not complimented,

[00:01:50] for your grace that we do not deserve, and your mercy. And we thank you for our salvation and the forgiveness that you offer to us. Father, I pray for your protection, your hedge of protection around President Donald J. Trump, his complete administration, his family,

[00:02:19] his secret service, all of those that are around him, Father. Keep them safe. Keep this nation safe. We know we have enemies here that are ready to strike. Keep us safe, Father. Lead our law enforcement to the bad guys that we can thwart their efforts

[00:02:47] to kill and destroy. Father, I ask your blessing on today's show, and for each and every one who is listening. Bless their lives, their communities. Bless them in their jobs, Father. Help them where they are struggling,

[00:03:15] whatever that might be, whether it's their health, their finances, or just other things. We live in a broken world, Father, and we face a lot of brokenness every day for such a time as this, Father. Father, oh, Abba, Father, we pray in Jesus' name.

[00:03:44] So when did freedom become so complicated? It was never intended to be complicated. This thing we call freedom, simple constitution. If you read it, it's very simple. You don't have to be, you don't have to have some law degree to read the constitution. That was intentional for it to be simple. So the average American could read it and understand it.

[00:04:13] We have a simple bill of rights. Oh, they try to mix it all up and make it complicated, but it's a simple bill of rights. The second amendment says, shall not be infringed. That includes all of the compromises. Shall not be infringed. And simple laws, once upon a time. And our founding fathers did warn us against such things.

[00:04:44] It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read. How many times have we heard that? Or so incoherent that they cannot be understood. That is for us, you know. James Madison said that. This one's a little longer. The internal effects of a multiple policy

[00:05:12] are still more calamitous. Multiple policy means a law or a bill or something that has more than one topic. It poises the blessings of liberty itself. It will be of little avail to the people if the laws are made by men and their own choice. If the laws are so voluminous that they cannot be read or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.

[00:05:43] If they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated or undergo such incessant changes that no man who knows what the law is today can guess what it will be tomorrow. Law is defined to be a rule of action but how can that be a rule which is little known and less fixed? Alexander Hamilton

[00:06:10] The laws or the legislators that the legislators today pass are just as these men warned us against. Today we have laws and bills that are knee deep in corruption and spending. They intended to be confusing to hide their intended to be confusing to hide their dastardly deeds.

[00:06:41] Did you know March 4th marks another deadline for shutting down the government? Oh, they can't be bothered with that. That's a long way away, right? Confirmations shouldn't be complicated nor should they be theater. But they are, aren't they? Did they pass a background check? Do they have any outstanding warrants? I wonder how many in Congress

[00:07:10] could pass a real background check. If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. James Madison said. It was a comment he made. This, what I'm going to share with you, is a comment that was made in my youth. It's kind of a slang. I don't know where it came from.

[00:07:40] When somebody said something that was a little bit out of place to the conversation, you'd say, well, what does that have to do with the price of eggs in China? Did you ever hear that, Rudy? Because we're about the same age. Yep, all the time. I don't know where it came from. But I'm certain of, although I'm not certain of his origin, but just now, the price of eggs in America falls on a president who's only been in office for less than two weeks. We have talked about the price of eggs numerous times

[00:08:10] through the years here on this show. We explained the horrendous regulations that were being pushed, causing the cost to rise and the hard-to-find eggs. Radical environmental groups, radical animal rights groups, and just stupid people that can't, they know nothing about raising chickens or eggs, but they're going to tell you how you can or cannot do it. So Senator Pocahontas Liz Warren

[00:08:39] all of a sudden noticed that eggs are expensive. It all happened on Biden's watch. And as optimistic and enthusiastic as our President Trump is and has been, some things like wars and the price of eggs just can't be fixed overnight. By the way, did Pocahontas ever refund that college that she lied to about her native blood? I don't think so. Freedom is not complicated,

[00:09:09] but despotism in bureaucracy democracies most certainly is complicated. Pay attention, America. But Trump said when he ran for president the first time back in 2015 and 16, he said, we're going to have so much winning, you're going to beg him to stop winning. I don't think so. America loves winning. This is a win, in my opinion. Yesterday, right after he hadn't been,

[00:13:34] I don't know, it had been even 24 hours. I guess it had been 24 hours. And Hegseth had been confirmed as defense secretary. And he removes General Milley's security clearance. I think that's a good thing. I think General Milley has proved himself unloyal, unfaithful to the United States of America. Not only is a failed general,

[00:14:04] but he said openly that he called China and told them that he would let them know if Trump did this or did that. You see, the complication in America is the corruption. And they don't want it fixed. And that's why they hate Trump. Is Trump an angel? Nope, he's not an angel.

[00:14:33] And he never has claimed to be one either. Unlike these hypocrites and Pharisees up there in Congress. So today, amongst others, probably, but RFK Jr. is being questioned, interrogated, regarding his nomination for

[00:15:02] Secretary of Health and Human Services. Do you remember January 5th when Vice President Pence was giving a speech? And I cannot remember verbatim, but we all know what Trump wanted him to do. And they had talked to constitutional lawyers. And of course, there is a discrepancy.

[00:15:32] Some people can have one opinion and others. And it escalated into a big thing here in the United States of America. But Vice President Pence stood there before the crowd telling us, tomorrow your voices will be heard. I promise you. Well, the Federal Society's Leonard Leo is now assisting Mike Pence's efforts

[00:16:02] to torpedo RFK Jr.'s nomination. So, they're going after him because of his stance on vaccines. They're calling him anti-vax, which is not true. What he wants is for the vaccines to be tested like they used to be.

[00:16:31] I had my children all vaccinated. But when my children they were vaccinated for polio, mumps, and measles, rubella, and they got tetanus shots. And that's all they got. And even with one of those, I had a son had, it was more

[00:17:00] of a topical reaction. He had a little lump or a cyst where his, that was when they decided not to give shots in the rump anymore and to give them in their leg. They don't have much leg. They little bit skinny things, most of them. My children were. I was once upon a time. So the doctor said, he's a general practitioner, he said, we're going to start giving his back in the backside where he's got more fat.

[00:17:33] So you have to pay attention and question these things. So why is it so important to Mike Pence and this Leonard Leo that RFK Jr. not be confirmed? So standing out like a sore thong among the dozens of left off center groups hoping to derail Kennedy's confirmation is a conservative advocacy group founded

[00:18:02] by former Vice President Mike Pence. The group is called Advancing American Freedom. Sounds great, doesn't it? Do you remember earlier this week we talked about these non-government organizations, how they are killing this country? Do you remember in times past when I've said, I will think one of these organizations is great, I can't get any of them to support the show, and then I find out they're not so great. But

[00:18:32] these non-profit organizations that are NGOs, they're very rich, very rich. Pence founded this in 2021 of April. Conservative values and policy proposals. The group's opposition to RFK Jr.'s nomination is reportedly driven by his vaccine views and his checkered past because he's a libertarian more

[00:19:02] so than he was a Democrat. So let's just, let's cut to the chase here. And remember, tomorrow, your voices will be heard. Remember the words Mike Pence said. So they're going after him for his stance even on abortion. They're claiming he's not conservative. We know he's not conservative. But we know he's very

[00:19:32] knowledgeable when it comes to the contamination in our water and our food and how our food has stuff in it that the example of Fruit Loops. The Fruit Loops in America has chemicals in it that are not in the Fruit Loops overseas because they have restrictions. And I just found out several months ago when I was talking to the ladies there at

[00:20:00] my conference because I always say buy American, buy American, buy American, and you can't hardly find makeup made in America. And they said makeup in particularly Korea. But makeup overseas has less chemicals. Now I wouldn't buy it from China if I could keep from it but a lot of it's made in China. I could stop wearing makeup. I'm on the radio. But that's probably not going to happen.

[00:20:31] This is what RFK Jr. Yes, I said it right. I always want to call him the other one. RFK Jr. said, abortion has been a notorious divisive issue in America. But actually I see an emerging consensus that abortion should be legal up until a certain number of weeks and restricted thereafter. That wasn't necessarily his opinion. It's his opinion about how things are going in America. And he made this statement back

[00:21:01] in 2024, which was just last year. And it goes on to say, every abortion is a tragedy. And by better supporting mothers and parents and families, we can dramatically reduce abortions across the board. Mike Pence said, I promise you, tomorrow your voices will be heard. Mike Pence

[00:21:30] has this non-for-profit conservative organization, and advancing American Freedom is getting a major assist from conservative heavy hitter Leonard Leo, co-founder of the Federal Society, the conservative lawyers network. Got that? The conservative

[00:21:59] lawyers network. Well, it just so happens as we continue to read this, and remember, he told us, he told us, tomorrow, I promise you, your voices will be heard. Advancing America's Freedom, going after the nominee

[00:22:29] that Trump wants for human health services. Both Pence and Leo have significant ties to Big Pharma. Pharma. In 2023, David Ricks, who heads the pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly,

[00:23:00] made major donations to Pence's PAC. Major, as in $25,000, $250,000 digital ad campaign is what they're spending against RFK Jr., but they have received money, both of them. They received money from Eli Lilly, Big Pharma.

[00:28:11] Because Mike Pence, in my opinion, is a liar and a traitor. And I believe he was a mole in the White House. I believe he was. I didn't used to think that. But the farther we get down this road, the more I can see that he was never true to Trump or to the American people or to the Constitution. Now, his organization, the nonprofit organization,

[00:28:43] spending $250,000 on a digital ad complaining against, opposing the nominee, which is Robert Kennedy Jr., on the grounds of his anti-vax conspiracy theorists. He was a former heroin addict, supporter of marijuana and psychedelic drug legalization, and the backer of abortion rights. We already talked about that.

[00:29:12] The ad campaign will include a mobile billboard that will drive around the Capitol complex and appear at the March for Life in Washington, which was Friday. Tomorrow, your voices will be heard, he promised, the American people. Both Pence and this Leo guy are tied to Big Pharma.

[00:29:42] So naturally, they're all about vaccines. It doesn't matter if they're tested or not. They're all about the vaccines. We have, and I saw this on Fox several years ago. I mean, several years ago when Megyn Kelly was still on Fox. And I'm not a Megyn Kelly fan. At that particular time, it was Ben Carson.

[00:30:10] Ben Carson's not anti-vax. But they want to look into the coalition, the possible coalition, a possible relationship between the fact that autism has grown in this country as vaccines have escalated for our children. They just want to look into it. Well, according to Megyn Kelly, you just can't do that.

[00:30:39] The children need their vaccines. I don't even know if she has children. I don't even know if she knows how many vaccinations these kids get these days. They get vaccinated for things that they don't need to be vaccinated for. And that's just the truth. But Mike Pence, if you go back in your memory

[00:31:08] and you remember what happened to General Flynn, it was Mike Pence that went running to Trump, President Trump and told him, oh, Mike Flynn lied to me. He lied about this Russia thing. He lied. And then it all started tumbling in on Mike Pence. I mean, I'm sorry, on General Flynn, who was innocent. And then they were going after him, threatening him,

[00:31:39] threatening his family. Mike Pence started that. And it was Mike Pence who was put in charge of the committee. Now, I know Trump was there. The committee for the COVID that was hitting this country. He put that team together of Fauci and Birx and others. And Mike Pence sat there on January 6th and now he'll have an interview and he'll say,

[00:32:08] the president never called me. We had a phone. Why didn't you call the president? General Milley said the same thing. The president never called me. They're liars and they're thieves and they're a part of the problem. I don't like a lot of Bobby Kennedy's ideas. I'm not a libertarian. And I don't like

[00:32:38] that he stands for climate change and neither does Trump. Trump says, you just stay away from our gas and oil and you stay over there and you take care of the food supply, health and human sources. Services, excuse me. I don't trust Mike Pence. Leo's firm also worked with the Americans for Prosperity

[00:33:07] who gave $50 million to support Nikki Haley. And I guess they can support whoever they want. But they're anti-Trumps and that's why they're anti-Bobby. They are anti-Trumps and that's why they're pro-pharmaceuticals, big pharmaceuticals. They're getting money from them, my friends. These NGOs, these non-profits and the people that are leading them

[00:33:37] are getting rich just like the Clinton Foundation. There is no difference. And they're not pushing liberty. They're not putting Americans first. Mike Pence is a liar. I don't care how often he goes inside the church doors. There's no truth in him. He does not

[00:34:07] believe in the Constitution like he said. He does not believe in the will of the people. The will of the people want Bobby Kennedy Jr. to get in there and start fixing our food supply. We're all unhealthy. We're all fat. Just a little around the edges. Just a little. America, have you looked at our young people? When we were young,

[00:34:36] it was a rarity that you had a heavy set kid in class. It was rare. And I would say it was probably a genetic thing because there is genetics involved. But today, these young girls, these young teenagers, I look at them and they're so heavy set. And I worry about them. If they're that heavy as a teenager, what's going to happen after they marry and have children? And it's

[00:35:07] the food. Even the fast food used to be semi-healthy, but it's not healthy. Cereal isn't healthy. The pyramid that they put out there to sell all the cereal? It was a lie. We're finding out more and more about that. You don't have to have three square meals a day. You can fast and you'll be fine.

[00:35:39] We're rooting for Bobby Kennedy Jr. And if I have to eat my words later, I will. But right now, I want Trump to get what he wants for his cabinet. And I want Mike Pence to go get in a basement and stay out of sight. I don't trust him. When I read this article, we're going to lighten it up a little bit, I had to think about Moses.

[00:36:10] But this is bring my people home instead of set my people free, although that is what Trump is trying to and I've kind of lost contact with this. I mean, we cover so many things, but Donald Trump says, I have just asked Elon Musk at SpaceX to go get the two brave astronauts who have been virtually abandoned in space by the Biden administration. They have been waiting

[00:36:39] for many months on the space station. Elon will soon be on his way. Hopefully all will be safe. Good luck, Elon. I think it was already set up for Elon to go do that in March and Trump's wanting to get her done, get those people back. I'm a little bit worried about why he wants him back so fast. What's another month? I'm a little concerned. A little concerned. But

[00:37:11] we won't go into the depths of this. There's all kinds of things. NASA is saying, oh, it's going to disrupt things if we bring them home early. There won't be anybody up there. And there's already up there. But anyway, I don't understand the complicatedness of it. But I thought it was hysterical. Trump says, Elon, go get them. Bring them home. Bring them home. They've been abandoned. Bring them home. Somebody's been talking to him. What happens when the law enforcement officers

Friend, who is now a senior fellow at the Center of Renewing America, and an American Radicals podcaster, apparently he has his own show, told American Greatness that other field offices have been asking for volunteers to help with

[00:44:35] deportation efforts, but many agents are afraid of retaliation from their superiors. So if they're doing this because they're afraid of their bosses, then their bosses need to be fired. Don't they understand Kash Patel's going to protect them? People know if they step forward then leadership will identify them as MAGA. If they

[00:45:05] step forward and obey a command, the executive management at some field offices aren't sending out any guidance for the ICE directive. They're just ignoring them. The former G-man said it was important for the Senate to confirm former federal prosecutor Kash Patel, Trump's nominee for the FBI to root this subterfuge out. They're eating

[00:45:35] out our substance. We have a problem. It isn't complicated to see what the problem is when you've got law enforcement breaking the law. Now, it's not a law that goes against America's Constitution. Them being asked to help ICE goes along with the laws. You understand immigration laws exist. They are

[00:46:04] not Trump's policy. Trump is, his policy is to enforce the laws that are on the book. The immigration laws is what I'm referring to. Joe Biden refused to enforce the law. That is what the president is supposed to do, enforce the laws. He doesn't make the laws. That's why I don't believe in all these

[00:46:34] executive orders. We're not supposed to be run by lawsuits and executive orders and investigations. Freedom isn't complicated. Despotism is. I believe that America is under despotism. Our enemy is within. And unfortunately, we keep electing him.

[00:47:03] So, March 14th, we're going to go at it again. We're going to have another omnibus bill. We're going to have another huge spending bill. And we're going to see how Trump reacts to it. Because, frankly, I think he spends too much also. Just being honest here. But he has a spending freeze. We'll talk about that a little bit here before we get, hear the music to go off the air.

[00:48:03] and over and over again. And she said, I've answered it three times. And she held up, this is the memo. You all received the memo. You know exactly what it says. And that was about the spending freeze. They also did it about the immigration. Oh, is he going to take those that are here only because they really haven't broke a law? Are you going to take them too? Yes. If they're standing there with the bad guy, do you

[00:48:33] really think they're all that innocent? If they're harboring the rapists and the murderers and the thieves and the drug do you think they're really that innocent? It is not going to affect Medicaid. It is not going to affect those who are receiving food. You know, they have the senior things where they can bring the food to the

[00:49:03] homes because they can't get out their shut-ins. It's not going to affect these things. It's Science Foundation issued thousands of grants at the cost of $2 billion towards promoting neo-Marxist concepts in the variety of scientific fields during the Biden tenure.

[00:49:29] The Biden administration made sure the Green New Deal helped politically friendly non-governmental organizations. Groups such as the Climate United Fund got $7 billion. Coalition for Green Capital got $5 billion. The Opportunity Finance Network got $2.29 billion. Power. If we just got rid of all of this, which we should, it wouldn't take us too long to pay off that trillion. Oh, yeah, it might take a little while.

[00:49:57] This is what he's stopping. Not food to grandma. Not Medicaid. Medicaid. This is what he's stopping. This insane spending. NGOs are getting those. Non-governmental organizations.
