3530 – December 6, 2024 – Interpretation or Perversion – Interpretation of the law, or perversion of the law Preemptive pardons? Somehow I don’t believe the Constitution had such pardons in mind.

Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution grants the president the power to issue pardons for offenses against the United States, with the exception of cases of impeachment:

Pardon power: The president can grant pardons to remove penalties and disabilities, and restore civil rights. A pardon can be granted before or after a conviction.

Types of clemency: The president’s pardoning power includes four types of clemency: pardon, amnesty, commutation, and reprieve.

Limitations: The president can only pardon crimes committed under federal law. For example, the president can’t pardon a murder conviction that took place under state law, unless the murder was charged as a federal crime.

Influence: The framers of the Constitution were influenced by the English legal tradition of pardon, which dates back to the 7th century. Alexander Hamilton introduced the concept of the presidential pardon at the Constitutional Convention.

To begin the pardon process, you must apply to the Office of the Pardon Attorney. There is also a five-year waiting period after being released from confinement.

What if? The scripture that most directly addresses the concept of “when the guilty are caught” is Proverbs 6:31, which states: “But if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold; he will give all the goods of his house.”. This verse essentially says that if a thief is caught, they will be punished severely, even to the point of losing all their possessions.

We’ve had a lot of crazy news this week. It is difficult to absorb it all, to recognize or find any commonsense in it all. BUT it is easy, unfortunately VERY EASY, to see how corrupt our government has become. It is unrecognizable as a WE the People government, as a FREE government…

[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going? I gotta get home. America, it's time to come home. It's time to come home! By bringing common sense back into the nonsense. Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home.

[00:00:21] Down this dirt road, you're going to find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment. And now, the woman that wishes the DC occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice. Here's your host, and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann.

[00:00:41] And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today. We are, I can't believe it is a Friday already. Let's go to the Lord in prayer.

[00:00:54] For such a time as this, O Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before you. Father, we come before you with grateful hearts. I don't like winter, but I know it's necessary. It's a necessary season.

[00:01:10] Father, I just thank you for this perfect world that you put together. And I thank you for the people that I know, all of them, ones I haven't even met, for my listeners, for those who produce the show.

[00:01:35] They very seldom give them any credit, but they are. Without them, we wouldn't be here, Father, and we know that. So I thank you for them and for Rudy.

[00:01:48] And, Lord God, we know that as a people, we have failed you, and we have failed our country.

[00:01:54] But most importantly, that failing came because we failed you.

[00:02:00] So bring us back home to you, Father.

[00:02:04] Help us to find our way.

[00:02:06] You've given us the guidebook.

[00:02:08] May we hunger and thirst for your righteousness and for your word.

[00:02:14] And, Father, again, I ask your hedge of protection around President Donald J. Trump,

[00:02:20] all those who he is putting in his or nominating for his cabinet to help him, as he says, make America great again.

[00:02:31] But, Father, more importantly, what I say, to bring America home.

[00:02:38] We have lost our way, Father.

[00:02:42] But you are the light, the guiding light.

[00:02:45] And may we focus on you, and everything else will fall in place.

[00:02:53] For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name.

[00:02:57] Amen.

[00:03:00] It is the season of Christmas.

[00:03:04] And I want to announce to any of those who live close enough or care to do this,

[00:03:10] this little community is putting on the Messiah.

[00:03:13] And that will be Sunday, this Sunday, December the 8th at 4 p.m.

[00:03:18] Yours truly will have a solo, but that's not the reason to come.

[00:03:21] Because I'm getting older.

[00:03:23] Yeah, it is.

[00:03:24] But there are some others there that I think you will absolutely enjoy.

[00:03:29] Two young men still in high school that are awesome singers.

[00:03:37] Awesome.

[00:03:38] And there are some young girls who will be singing as well.

[00:03:42] And my son will have a solo.

[00:03:45] My oldest son and his wife will have solos in this Messiah.

[00:03:49] But it's not about the solos.

[00:03:51] It's about the message of the songs that Handel wrote.

[00:03:56] The Messiah is a large, large musical, for lack of a better word for it.

[00:04:05] But we're just doing the Christmas section.

[00:04:07] And the Hallelujah Chorus.

[00:04:09] The Hallelujah Chorus is really the ending of the Easter section.

[00:04:13] But we will add that in there.

[00:04:15] And it's called a sing-along.

[00:04:17] So if you sing and if you know the Messiah, or even if you don't,

[00:04:22] you're welcome to come join us.

[00:04:25] Dress code for the choir is black and white or whatever you've got that's Christmassy.

[00:04:31] Or sit in the...

[00:04:32] It's free, absolutely free.

[00:04:34] It's at 4 o'clock, December the 8th.

[00:04:36] That's this Sunday, the Messiah.

[00:04:38] And it's the California Community Choir.

[00:04:41] And we have people from all over.

[00:04:42] There will be a string quartet or trio, a string trio, I believe.

[00:04:47] And a gentleman playing the harpsichord.

[00:04:50] And his wife is the accompanist.

[00:04:52] And it's very unusual.

[00:04:54] When I was a little girl growing up in school up in high school in Kansas City,

[00:05:00] in elementary and junior high and one year of high school there,

[00:05:05] my name is Beth.

[00:05:08] And I didn't know another Beth.

[00:05:10] Moved to Jamestown.

[00:05:11] There's another Beth in my class.

[00:05:15] And I think it's really funny that there's me, Beth.

[00:05:19] The director's name is Beth.

[00:05:21] And the pianist's name is Beth.

[00:05:23] So all of a sudden there's a whole bunch of Beths.

[00:05:25] And that could be trouble.

[00:05:27] Just saying.

[00:05:28] That could be a lot of trouble.

[00:05:30] But this Sunday, December the 8th,

[00:05:32] Beth, the Messiah, a sing-along.

[00:05:36] You can join us.

[00:05:37] It's not too late.

[00:05:40] And that's at 4 o'clock.

[00:05:42] And it'll be at the California Performing Arts Center.

[00:05:44] For those of you who came to our conference,

[00:05:47] that's where it's at.

[00:05:48] It's at the same place there.

[00:05:50] Now let's get on with the show.

[00:05:53] I had to say that.

[00:05:54] I've been wanting to remember to tell you this all week.

[00:05:58] And I keep forgetting it.

[00:06:01] Interpretation of the law or perversion of the law.

[00:06:04] That's what I want to discuss today.

[00:06:08] Any of you who have dealt with animals,

[00:06:12] if you have an animal and it's cornered, it's scared,

[00:06:16] and maybe even injured, wounded,

[00:06:19] that animal will fight viciously,

[00:06:23] lashing out, clawing and biting,

[00:06:25] growling, screaming, everything it can to survive.

[00:06:33] Preemptive pardons?

[00:06:36] Now what does that have to do with wild animals?

[00:06:38] I'll get there.

[00:06:40] Somehow, I don't believe the Constitution had such pardons in mind.

[00:06:44] So I had to look it up.

[00:06:45] And it does say that.

[00:06:46] But what is the interpretation?

[00:06:49] Let me read it to you.

[00:06:52] And then I'll read some other things that I discovered about it.

[00:06:55] So it's in section,

[00:06:58] it's in Article 2, Section 2.

[00:07:02] And it's,

[00:07:04] The President shall be Commander-in-Chief of the Army,

[00:07:07] the Navy,

[00:07:07] the United States,

[00:07:08] of the militia in several states.

[00:07:09] Then called into the actual service of the United States,

[00:07:13] he may require the opinion,

[00:07:15] in writing,

[00:07:16] of the principal offer in which,

[00:07:18] in each of the executive departments,

[00:07:20] upon a subject relating to the duties of their representatives,

[00:07:25] representative offices.

[00:07:26] And,

[00:07:28] he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States,

[00:07:35] except in cases of impeachment.

[00:07:38] Now,

[00:07:40] that's why they want to

[00:07:43] impeach Trump so badly.

[00:07:46] I also read

[00:07:49] that the pardon power of the President

[00:07:51] is to remove penalties and disabilities

[00:07:55] and restore civil rights.

[00:07:57] So any of these that receive a pardon,

[00:07:59] it's wiped clean,

[00:08:00] it can't be held against them anywhere.

[00:08:02] A pardon can be granted before or after a conviction,

[00:08:08] which seems weird to me.

[00:08:10] Types of clemency.

[00:08:12] The President's pardoning power includes four types of clemency.

[00:08:15] Pardon,

[00:08:16] amnesty,

[00:08:17] commutation,

[00:08:17] commutation,

[00:08:19] commutation,

[00:08:20] and reprieve.

[00:08:22] Limitations.

[00:08:23] The President can only pardon crimes committed under federal law.

[00:08:27] For example,

[00:08:28] the President cannot pardon a murder conviction

[00:08:31] that took place under state law

[00:08:33] unless the murder was charged as a federal crime.

[00:08:39] Influence.

[00:08:40] The framers of the Constitution were influenced by the English legal tradition of pardon,

[00:08:45] which dates back to the 7th century.

[00:08:48] Alexander Hamilton introduced the concept for the presidential pardon

[00:08:52] at the Constitutional Convention.

[00:08:55] To begin the pardon process,

[00:08:58] you must apply to the office of the pardon attorney.

[00:09:03] There is also a five-year waiting period

[00:09:06] after being released from confinement.

[00:09:08] Now, this is some information I found on the pardon,

[00:09:11] and I couldn't find exactly where they got this.

[00:09:15] But I found it very interesting.

[00:09:18] And so where does that go with the wild animals?

[00:09:22] Did you happen to see the scrapping going on in Congress yesterday

[00:09:26] between that Secret Service director and the representative?

[00:09:31] He looked like a cornered wild animal

[00:09:35] lashing out, trying to survive.

[00:09:37] And all of these wanting pardons,

[00:09:39] I think that's curious.

[00:09:41] Now, we're headed into a break.

[00:09:43] When we come back, we should have Daniel Turner.

[00:09:45] Not sure what he's going to talk about today,

[00:09:48] but it'll be his time to give us a report.

[00:09:51] You're listening to CSE Talk Radio.

[00:09:52] This is Beth Ann.

[00:09:53] We'll be right back.

[00:09:54] The American Crisis Continues.

[00:10:02] The reviews are in.

[00:10:03] This is a book worth reading,

[00:10:06] a book that lays out both the fundamental issues

[00:10:08] and offers a solution.

[00:10:10] The American Crisis Continues informed me

[00:10:13] about the battle between good and evil.

[00:10:15] It inspired me to get involved in the author's quest

[00:10:18] to bring America home to God, family, and country.

[00:10:21] At a time in history when America is being attacked from within

[00:10:25] by those who have a secular socialist view of America,

[00:10:28] This book quenched my thirst for a perspective of the America

[00:10:32] I know and love.

[00:10:33] Learn about America's founding principles.

[00:10:36] How do the grievances in 1776 compare to us today?

[00:10:41] Knowledge is the key defense against the vicious enemy, tyranny.

[00:11:02] Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives.

[00:11:05] Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building.

[00:11:09] Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble,

[00:11:13] which are perishable?

[00:11:14] Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent?

[00:11:18] In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system.

[00:11:22] When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn?

[00:11:26] Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets?

[00:11:31] Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government,

[00:11:33] but gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth.

[00:11:38] Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy,

[00:11:42] fiat dollars and debt.

[00:11:52] Give your wealth a solid foundation with gold and silver.

[00:12:02] Did you hear that?

[00:12:03] That's the sound of energy, and America has plenty.

[00:12:06] Power the Future is dedicated to those who power the future for all Americans.

[00:12:10] It is their hard work, sweat, and determination that keeps the lights on in all American homes.

[00:12:32] the U.S. economy, international affairs, and our national security.

[00:12:36] If the radical environmentalists have their way,

[00:12:39] our natural resources will be less available and less affordable.

[00:12:43] Power the Future is a sponsor of CSC Talk Radio.

[00:12:45] We advocate for America's energy independence and national security.

[00:12:49] Visit PowerTheFuture.com and let's work together to keep the lights on and bring America home.

[00:13:04] Ed, we have returned to listening to CSC Talk Radio.

[00:13:07] This is Beth Ann, and we have with us Daniel Turner of Power the Future to give us our weekly report,

[00:13:12] or just to get it off his chest, whichever way he wants to go with it.

[00:13:17] Daniel, how are you doing?

[00:13:18] Beth Ann, it was great to be on with you.

[00:13:20] Thank you so much for having me.

[00:13:22] You are more than welcome.

[00:13:23] We love having you on, Daniel.

[00:13:25] What's going on?

[00:13:26] Well, you know, I think you and your wonderful listeners are seeing the swamp in action,

[00:13:33] and it's starting to frustrate an awful lot of folks, right?

[00:13:37] We had a decisive election just a couple weeks ago and some pretty bold picks for the cabinet,

[00:13:44] and you just start to see caving and caving.

[00:13:47] You see Republican senators not just saying they will not confirm certain members,

[00:13:52] but also saying how this Doge Department of Government Efficiency Task Force that Elon and Vivek are heading up,

[00:14:00] how it's not going to work, and they're not actually going to accomplish anything.

[00:14:04] And this is just the swamp in action.

[00:14:07] This is a group of people who have been elected year after year, cycle after cycle.

[00:14:11] They like big government.

[00:14:13] They like big budgets.

[00:14:14] They like all their power.

[00:14:16] And they don't want a new sheriff in town.

[00:14:19] They like the corrupt old way because it's very lucrative for them, and it's very comfortable,

[00:14:24] and it's very – people just like power.

[00:14:28] Secure.

[00:14:29] Remember we said after the election the fight is just beginning?

[00:14:32] Well, this is another example of it.

[00:14:33] The fight is – and it hasn't even really begun because we haven't even assumed power yet.

[00:14:38] But the fights are not the election.

[00:14:41] The election was the beginning of the battle, but now the real war is underway.

[00:14:45] Well, we've got these preemptive pardons coming down, and – or at least they haven't yet,

[00:14:51] but they're all talking about it, and everybody they're wanting to pardon has not been charged.

[00:14:55] So I was looking at that.

[00:14:56] And it does say in the Constitution that he can do that before they've been charged,

[00:15:02] which doesn't make sense to me.

[00:15:03] And, of course, when that was written, I don't think they were intending it to be somebody

[00:15:07] who has committed treason against the United States.

[00:15:10] But I see where we've got a little winning every once in a while,

[00:15:14] and the anti-Paxton Texas speaker is a Republican.

[00:15:21] He's not going to go for a third term.

[00:15:24] He's the one that went after Paxton down there.

[00:15:27] There were several of them, and they were Republicans.

[00:15:31] And what do you think of this Johnny Ernst?

[00:15:34] Well, what I've been hearing, Daniel, is she wants this position that Hegseth is up for.

[00:15:41] So I really think she should recuse herself of even saying anything,

[00:15:45] but she should recuse herself from that position since she wants it so bad because she's speaking.

[00:15:54] Yeah, there's a lot of online rumors about what's going on there.

[00:15:58] I don't know the senator.

[00:16:00] I've never interacted with her.

[00:16:02] I don't trust her.

[00:16:03] I stand by the position of if she gave a full-throated endorsement to Secretary Austin

[00:16:11] when he was up for the position under the Biden administration,

[00:16:14] and she voted for Secretary Austin, and she voted to confirm, I believe, Merrick Garland,

[00:16:19] and she voted to confirm Alejandro Mayorkas.

[00:16:22] She supported the Biden picks, and if she doesn't give President Trump the same courtesy,

[00:16:30] then she's inviting scrutiny and political competition.

[00:16:37] Iowa voted for Trump by something like 17 points.

[00:16:41] Iowa's pretty firmly in Camp Trump, and if she represents the constituents of Iowa,

[00:16:46] she has to explain why she is going against an overwhelming majority of them

[00:16:51] who voted for president's agenda.

[00:16:53] And, you know, I was talking with a bunch of my friends who are more in the campaign political space

[00:16:59] and already seeing a lot of movement towards 2026.

[00:17:04] Exhausting, right?

[00:17:05] Who wants to think about another election?

[00:17:06] I know.

[00:17:07] But here we are.

[00:17:08] This is D.C. for you.

[00:17:10] And I was saying the one who you should be calling is not Joni Ernst.

[00:17:14] You should be calling Senator Tim Scott.

[00:17:16] He's in charge of the senatorial committee.

[00:17:19] His whole job in this little committee is to get Republican senators reelected,

[00:17:24] and he should be the one saying to Joni Ernst,

[00:17:27] if you don't vote to confirm these folks, you're going to get primaried,

[00:17:32] and I don't have the money to support you.

[00:17:35] I don't have the money to come to your rescue, and you're going to lose.

[00:17:39] So what do you want to do, Joni?

[00:17:41] Do you want to stay a senator,

[00:17:42] or are you willing to die on that hill?

[00:17:44] Now, there are hills I'm willing to die on, right?

[00:17:46] There are certain things I would vote for,

[00:17:48] and if it kicks me out of office, so be it.

[00:17:51] But I don't think the nomination of Pete Hegseth is a hill.

[00:17:55] This is a made-up story, a made-up controversy,

[00:17:59] as they are saying it now.

[00:18:01] He's being Kavanaughed.

[00:18:03] And if she's willing to sacrifice her political career on that,

[00:18:07] then so be it.

[00:18:10] You know, so let me give that number.

[00:18:11] That was a great suggestion to call Rick Scott.

[00:18:14] I don't have his direct number, but I have the congressional number,

[00:18:17] and that's for the Senate and everything.

[00:18:20] South Carolina.

[00:18:20] If I said Rick, I apologize.

[00:18:22] Oh, you did?

[00:18:23] The senator from South Carolina.

[00:18:24] Okay, let's go with him then.

[00:18:26] Not Rick Scott from Florida, Tim Scott from South Carolina.

[00:18:29] Tim Scott.

[00:18:29] He's in charge of getting...

[00:18:31] Exactly.

[00:18:31] And, you know, it's the same for Joni Ernst.

[00:18:33] It's the same for Susan Collins.

[00:18:35] Absolutely.

[00:18:36] She'll be primaried from the right.

[00:18:38] Now, Maine is a purpley-blue state.

[00:18:40] A lot of people say Susan Collins is our best bet to win,

[00:18:44] but there are going to be enough Republicans who are going to say,

[00:18:47] well, let's get her off the ticket.

[00:18:49] And then they lose in the general, and that's a real possibility.

[00:18:54] If someone very conservative runs against Susan Collins in the primary and wins,

[00:19:00] and then that person is maybe too conservative for Maine,

[00:19:03] and now the seat goes blue.

[00:19:04] Is that the Republican Party's fault?

[00:19:07] Is that Tim Scott's fault?

[00:19:09] Or is it Susan Collins' fault because she's invited this problem?

[00:19:13] Again, Susan Collins told us when she ran for office in 1996,

[00:19:18] going back some time, huh?

[00:19:19] She told us that she was running for Senate because of entrenched senators,

[00:19:24] and she vowed she would only run for two terms.

[00:19:27] That was her campaign pledge.

[00:19:29] She is running for her terms.

[00:19:32] She made too much money.

[00:19:33] I'm going to give the phone number.

[00:19:34] It's very, very real.

[00:19:35] I'm going to give the phone number.

[00:19:36] It's 202-224-3121, and I'll give that again later.

[00:19:41] It's 202-224-3121, and Tim Scott is the one you want to leave the message for

[00:19:48] and tell them to – you know, he was against Gates too.

[00:19:53] I was really shocked about that one.

[00:19:55] But so I get concerned about these Republicans.

[00:20:00] Rudy's got something to say.

[00:20:01] I do have Tim Scott's phone number in D.C.

[00:20:03] Okay.

[00:20:05] 202-224-6121.

[00:20:09] That's Tim Scott.

[00:20:10] All right.

[00:20:11] We got him done.

[00:20:13] We will flood him.

[00:20:15] This is how you get things done.

[00:20:17] Senators as a whole and members of Congress do not like phone calls.

[00:20:22] They really don't want – as awful as that sounds, they don't like getting calls from constituents,

[00:20:29] which is why you have to call.

[00:20:30] Our own member of Congress here has been MIA for an entire year.

[00:20:36] Tragic illness.

[00:20:38] I understand things happen, but the Congresswoman did not want to resign, or Nancy Pelosi did not want her to resign,

[00:20:48] because our Virginia governor is then responsible for replacing that seat,

[00:20:55] and he would have replaced with a Republican, and that would have increased the Republican's majority.

[00:20:59] So what did our Congresswoman do?

[00:21:01] Nothing.

[00:21:02] She just hasn't been at work for a year.

[00:21:04] And I've called regularly and asked, when is she coming to vote?

[00:21:08] When is she?

[00:21:08] And they tell me that she is staying on top of her job.

[00:21:12] No, she's not.

[00:21:13] She's – and again, I don't wish her any ill.

[00:21:17] But your job in Congress is not a charity.

[00:21:20] Your job in Congress is to represent your constituents.

[00:21:22] And if you're unable to carry out that job for whatever reason, physical, emotional, health,

[00:21:30] then you have a responsibility to your constituents whom you represent to step aside.

[00:21:34] She hasn't done it for a year.

[00:21:36] And it is a responsibility.

[00:21:38] Your responsibility is to represent your constituents.

[00:21:41] Your constituents made their voices very clear, crystal darn clear, just a couple weeks ago.

[00:21:48] If you're not going to represent them, then be prepared to be forced aside.

[00:21:52] That is democracy in action.

[00:21:55] Absolutely.

[00:21:56] Absolutely.

[00:21:56] That's a part of that.

[00:21:58] And, you know, I saw the outburst in the hearing yesterday with the Secret Service guy,

[00:22:04] and I kind of equated that because all these people wanting these pardons all of a sudden,

[00:22:09] and they feel like – I think they're like – I equated it to a cornered, wounded animal, wild animal,

[00:22:17] lashing out and fighting for existence because they know they're in trouble.

[00:22:23] They know they're caught.

[00:22:26] And Biden's up there.

[00:22:28] Everybody – I don't know that he so much.

[00:22:31] His congressional members are all wanting these preemptive pardons, which tells you they're all guilty of something.

[00:22:38] Absolutely.

[00:22:39] Absolutely.

[00:22:40] They are all guilty of something if they're asking for pardons in advance.

[00:22:44] And sticking, you know, more along the lines of energy, a viral video from just a couple days ago that I really should have led with

[00:22:54] because energy should be on the top of my mind.

[00:22:56] But there's a lot happening.

[00:22:57] Oh, there is.

[00:22:58] There was some little punk kid at the Environmental Protection Agency joking about how many grants he's giving out

[00:23:04] before Trump takes office.

[00:23:07] Billions of dollars.

[00:23:08] Yes.

[00:23:09] He's on a date as part of James O'Keefe's sting operation.

[00:23:12] I made fun of him on social media because it's wintertime and you're not supposed to drink fruity cocktails in winter, right?

[00:23:18] It's kind of strange.

[00:23:19] But there he was having his little fruity cocktail and joking about how he – and he made the expression like throwing gold bars off the Titanic.

[00:23:28] Yeah.

[00:23:29] If that is an example of the corruption we have in government, that some little 25-year-old punk kid is throwing gold bars off the Titanic.

[00:23:39] Well, he's going to have to do it now because Elon and Vivek are going to put a stop to that.

[00:23:43] And we are out of time.

[00:23:45] Thank you.

[00:23:46] We appreciate you so much, Daniel.

[00:23:49] We'll be right back.

[00:24:01] Looking for someone to educate and encourage your group?

[00:24:04] Invite Bethann and her Bring America Home message to your community or event.

[00:24:08] Call 573-796-2166 or email rudys at csctalkradio.com to invite Bethann to speak at your next event.

[00:24:17] Bethann has been behind the microphone for almost 30 years fighting to bring America home.

[00:24:22] She brings her unique perspective, drawing from her many life experiences and her love for God and country.

[00:24:28] As a young girl, her family moved from the big city to a small rural community where she would grow up, marry her husband, and together raise five sons.

[00:24:35] Along the way, she worked in factories, retail, sales, and medical clinic, and now lights up the airwaves on CSE Talk Radio.

[00:24:42] As the D.C. occupiers continue to drive our society into socialism and anarchy, the message to Bring America Home grows more crucial by the day.

[00:24:51] Bethann brings that message with contagious passion wherever she speaks.

[00:24:55] Schedule Bethann to speak to your group today by calling 573-796-2166.

[00:25:01] Hello, I'm Mike Lindell, the inventor of MyPillow.

[00:25:04] For the longest time, I've wanted to come out with the world's most comfortable bedsheets.

[00:25:09] But up until now, I haven't been able to find anything that held up to my high standards.

[00:25:14] I finally found the best cotton in the world in a region where the Sahara Desert, the Nile River, and the Mediterranean Sea all come together to create the ideal weather conditions for growing cotton.

[00:25:26] My new Giza Dream bedsheets are made with this long staple cotton, and I guarantee they'll be the most comfortable sheets you'll ever own.

[00:25:35] The first night you sleep on my sheets, you'll never want to sleep on anything else.

[00:25:40] The Giza Dream sheets are available in a variety of colors.

[00:25:44] And like all of Mike's products, they come with a 60-day money-back guarantee and a 10-year warranty.

[00:25:50] Right now, you can get your very own by calling 1-800-978-6168.

[00:27:01] For centuries, those who raise, breed, and work with animals have been revered and lauded for what they do.

[00:27:07] Today, across America, the rights to own and raise animals are under attack by animal rights activists

[00:27:13] and their increased influence on government and non-government agencies.

[00:27:17] This onslaught regularly violates protection from illegal search and seizure and a citizen's right to due process of the law,

[00:27:23] all of which are outlined specifically in the U.S. Constitution.

[00:27:27] Protect your animals, your animal enterprise, and your property from its abuse of power.

[00:27:51] Join the Cavalry Group today.

[00:27:53] Call 855-748-4210 or go to their website at thecavalrygroup.com.

[00:28:06] And we have returned.

[00:28:07] You're listening to CSC Talk Radio.

[00:28:09] This is Beth Ann.

[00:28:10] So I did want to talk.

[00:28:12] I wanted to focus on two things today.

[00:28:14] These preemptive pardons and Elon and Vivek, what they have going on.

[00:28:19] So I have two.

[00:28:21] They're both very long articles, so I will not bore you by reading them.

[00:28:26] But not the entire article anyway.

[00:28:29] But in this Elon and Vivek, they lead us to a more efficient government.

[00:28:35] This is the does.

[00:28:37] But not with Congress unwilling to give up money and power.

[00:28:42] That is going to be, and I've said this before I ever read this article,

[00:28:47] Congress is going to be one of their biggest obstacles, the biggest troublemakers.

[00:28:53] So America, we the people out there, 202-224-3121.

[00:28:59] You need to keep that phone going.

[00:29:06] But a core aspect of his approach, and it's talking about Elon, because he cleaned up X, Twitter,

[00:29:19] to develop production was found in his recent biography, a five-step process that he refers to as the algorithm.

[00:29:33] Number one, question every requirement.

[00:29:38] So when you look at a position, a job or a department, you question every requirement.

[00:29:45] Never accept a requirement that came from a department or a committee.

[00:29:54] Don't listen to them.

[00:29:55] Listen to what's written.

[00:29:58] Number two, and I thought this was funny.

[00:30:01] I haven't read it to Rudy yet.

[00:30:03] Delete any process you can.

[00:30:07] You may have to add them back later.

[00:30:10] In fact, if you don't end up adding back 10% of them, you didn't delete enough.

[00:30:16] I thought that was kind of astonishing that that was the way he looked at it.

[00:30:24] Get rid of it and then decide whether you need to bring it back.

[00:30:29] Simplify and optimize.

[00:30:31] This should come right after step two, which we just got through saying was to delete everything.

[00:30:41] Do not simplify and optimize a process that should not exist.

[00:30:49] So if you've got something that doesn't need to be there, just get rid of it.

[00:30:53] Don't try to optimize it or simplify it.

[00:30:55] Just get rid of it.

[00:30:58] Accelerate cycle time.

[00:31:01] Every procedure can be sped up.

[00:31:03] Now, it made me think of assembly lines.

[00:31:07] I don't know how many of you have ever worked on an assembly line.

[00:31:09] Have you ever worked on an assembly line?

[00:31:12] Well, sometimes the assembly line I was on was not that way.

[00:31:16] But my brother, Tommy, worked at McGraw Edison when he was out of high school.

[00:31:22] And it was an assembly line.

[00:31:23] And you had a quota.

[00:31:26] Well, if you could overdo that quota because you're faster, they'd eventually raise that quota.

[00:31:33] Well, the people that were competing with him, they weren't too happy about that or who were farther down that assembly line.

[00:31:40] They weren't too happy about that.

[00:31:42] So everything can be hurried along and the procedure can be sped up.

[00:31:52] And that also makes me think of some other things in this country that take so long to get done because of the bureaucracy.

[00:32:03] And it should be like that.

[00:32:05] They were talking last night of waiting for your Social Security there in D.C. at the Social Security office.

[00:32:17] And I think anybody in their states where they've got a Social Security office in your area, you'll sit there and wait an hour and a half, two hours.

[00:32:25] I've been there.

[00:32:26] I've done that.

[00:32:27] When my father passed away and I went in there with my mother to get the last of his $250, you know, that they give you when you die.

[00:32:35] We waited there forever.

[00:32:40] That shouldn't have to happen.

[00:32:44] Automate is number five.

[00:32:46] This comes last.

[00:32:47] Do not automate until all requirements have been questioned, processes have been deleted, and everything has been simplified and procedures have been sped up.

[00:33:00] Now imagine if these five steps were applied to reforming the United States government.

[00:33:05] This is what he did in his businesses.

[00:33:07] Elon Musk.

[00:33:10] Less than two years after Musk required the company X, or Twitter, it operates today with 80% fewer employees and is much more productive, accurate, timely, and ideologically balanced.

[00:33:27] And that's why the left hated.

[00:33:31] The spending.

[00:33:32] We're spending too much.

[00:33:34] And it goes into details on these, which I won't bore you with.

[00:33:40] Because we'll run out of time.

[00:33:42] But it says here that the federal spending for fiscal 2024, which ended in September, was $6.752 trillion.

[00:33:54] A 52% increase from $4.447 trillion in 2019.

[00:34:03] Meanwhile, the national debt at the time of this writing, which was today, has exploded from $22.7 trillion in 2019 to $36 trillion.

[00:34:25] A 59% increase in just five years.

[00:34:31] The increase since 2019 is primarily the cause of Biden's failed economic policies.

[00:34:38] So it breaks down.

[00:34:41] Are you sitting down?

[00:34:41] Put your coffee down.

[00:34:42] I want you to spit on yourself or anything.

[00:34:44] Each U.S. citizen.

[00:34:46] That's you, me, that's Rudy, my husband, my sons.

[00:34:50] Each citizen is responsible for $107,000 of this debt.

[00:34:56] Well, I don't know about you, but my little Social Security surely doesn't come up to that.

[00:35:02] I don't get very much.

[00:35:07] I want to move on.

[00:35:10] For every duly elected member of Congress, I'm jumping through this, there are 5,476 unelected government bureaucrats.

[00:35:25] For every one congressman, there are over almost 5,500 unelected government bureaucrats.

[00:35:35] For every one, for every duly elected member of Congress, there's nearly 5,500 unelected bureaucrats.

[00:35:47] With 434 active federal agencies in existence.

[00:35:52] And 2.93 million workers expanding their authority every day by creating more regulations and limits on American citizens with little or no oversight.

[00:36:08] The task of reform seems both insurmountable as well as righteous.

[00:36:15] Now, think about that.

[00:36:17] These unelected officials are making decisions that affect your life, personal, your family, your home, your business, your grocery stores, your doctors, everything.

[00:36:31] And they have basically doesn't affect their lives.

[00:36:35] They don't have the same insurance you and I have.

[00:36:38] They don't have the same worries you and I have.

[00:36:41] They don't worry about getting laid off.

[00:36:44] Until now.

[00:36:48] Until now.

[00:36:50] Waste and inefficiency in government will be quite easy to find.

[00:36:56] Much of the fraud and reckless spending is visible to anyone paying attention.

[00:37:02] This is because the activities of the federal government and its profligate spending are not designed to be either efficient or cost effective.

[00:37:15] The government is a service bureaucracy whose objectives are political.

[00:37:21] And efficiency along with cost effectiveness almost always runs counter to their objectives.

[00:37:31] They don't care.

[00:37:33] Efficiency is not a problem for them.

[00:37:36] Well, it's a problem for us.

[00:37:38] But it's not a concern for them.

[00:37:41] Two massive barriers.

[00:37:43] The budgets process and Congress.

[00:37:46] That's what Elon and Vivek will be up against.

[00:37:50] It's up to you and I to help them fight.

[00:37:54] We'll be right back.

[00:38:00] Have you heard about vine-to-bar chocolate?

[00:39:05] The American Crisis Continues.

[00:39:08] In her new book, The American Crisis Continues, Beth Ann elaborates on the crises America faces today.

[00:39:15] Invasion at the border, insurrections, lawlessness, climate change, and the cry for democracy.

[00:39:22] These are the times that try men's souls.

[00:39:25] Thomas Paine's words continue to speak to Americans today.

[00:42:28] Or, just give him a call and say, hey, we miss you.

[00:42:30] We miss you on Beth Ann's show.

[00:42:32] So, back to this budgeting.

[00:42:34] Back to the Vivek, the Doge.

[00:42:37] Vivek and Elon Musk.

[00:42:41] Congress is probably the largest obstacle they're going to have.

[00:42:45] Few, if any, in Congress would volunteer to be the first to have dollars cut from their district.

[00:42:53] I don't see it that way.

[00:42:54] But I guess it is going to have to happen that way.

[00:42:57] He goes on and he explains, that's why we have 84-year-old Nancy Pelosi.

[00:43:03] Still in Congress.

[00:43:08] Entrenched politicians.

[00:43:12] He ends up, in this article, he ends it with, so the battle lines are being drawn.

[00:43:18] He also talks about the media in this, the left media.

[00:43:22] There's even some media that are other places that are questioning things.

[00:43:25] We need to cut it.

[00:43:27] We need to cut, cut, cut.

[00:43:29] And you and I are going to have to be patient with that because we're going to feel a sting.

[00:43:37] Is this what you want?

[00:43:39] Because this is liberty.

[00:43:41] And liberty is always in the hands of the people.

[00:43:45] Always.

[00:43:46] And yes, it might mean some sacrificing now.

[00:43:50] But it'll make a better tomorrow.

[00:43:53] So the battle lines are being drawn.

[00:43:56] And the rhetoric is rising in temperature.

[00:43:59] And this reform, if it can be pulled off, could be a monumental shift in getting this country turned around from a fiscal disaster.

[00:44:23] He says that's what the bureaucracy will do.

[00:44:26] They'll refuse to do the things Vivek and Ramaswamy, I mean Vivek and Elon want them to do.

[00:44:34] And if they do that, they'll run out the clock right off the cliff, he said.

[00:44:43] We have to put pressure on them.

[00:44:45] We the people.

[00:44:46] If liberty means that much to us, if government money means that much to you, I was reminded here, and I thought of this yesterday.

[00:44:53] But I was reminded, remember when we found out that like a hammer, this is back in the Reagan days, and it took place in other administrations.

[00:45:02] From the Defense Department, I think it was, or somewhere, $200 for a hammer.

[00:45:09] They will, if the people, the contractors, will take advantage of the government and the government will let them.

[00:45:17] Somebody's making money, folks.

[00:45:19] You know, like the Cheney's.

[00:45:21] That's why they want a pardon.

[00:45:23] That's why they want a pardon.

[00:45:25] So, let's talk about those pardons for just a few minutes because we only have a few minutes left.

[00:45:30] There was no pardon for Navarro.

[00:45:33] There was no pardon for Bannon.

[00:45:35] There was no pardon for General Flynn.

[00:45:38] Well, yes, there was.

[00:45:39] I think Trump pardoned him.

[00:45:41] I think he did pardon him.

[00:45:44] And we still don't know what's going to happen with Mr. Penney.

[00:45:51] But...

[00:45:52] The jury's deadlocked right now.

[00:45:54] Deadlocked.

[00:45:55] I cannot believe.

[00:45:56] This man saved lives that day.

[00:45:59] He did not kill this man.

[00:46:02] No.

[00:46:02] He wrestled him down, but he didn't kill him.

[00:46:04] He died from natural causes.

[00:46:08] If you call drugs natural causes.

[00:46:11] And he had other conditions.

[00:46:17] I pray that if they don't do the right thing here, that President Donald Trump will pardon him.

[00:46:23] Complete pardon.

[00:46:26] Well, Politico reports that the White House is discussing preemptive pardons for Anthony Fauci, Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, and others.

[00:46:40] Why do you think that's true?

[00:46:42] Well, they're worried about Patel.

[00:46:44] They're worried about Kash Patel and the FBI.

[00:46:48] They're worried about Pam Bondi.

[00:46:51] Because every one of these people is guilty of treason to the United States of America.

[00:46:57] Treason should not be pardonable.

[00:47:01] Treason.

[00:47:02] That's not a crime like, I don't know, embezzlement.

[00:47:09] Treason.

[00:47:10] In my opinion, and I am no lawyer.

[00:47:14] But common sense would say, because we know our founding fathers hung a few people.

[00:47:20] Treason is not pardonable.

[00:47:24] Treason.

[00:47:24] Why should you forgive someone who's committed treason against this country?

[00:47:30] How many people died because of Fauci?

[00:47:33] How many people have died because of some of the other things these people have done?

[00:47:41] What about all those January 6th people that are locked up because Liz Cheney hid what really happened that day?

[00:47:48] That's treason against those people.

[00:47:52] Against the people.

[00:47:57] We should rise up and say no pardons.

[00:48:00] No pardons.

[00:48:01] No pardons for these people.

[00:48:05] But even if they are pardoned, Trump can reveal what actually took place.

[00:48:12] The American people need to know the truth of January 6th.

[00:48:16] The American people need to have confirmation, which we have some, of COVID.

[00:48:21] But Fauci needs to pay.

[00:48:25] Now, in my monologue, what I didn't get to is what if.

[00:48:29] When we go to the scripture, what if the scripture that most directly addresses the concept of guilty when caught.

[00:48:44] Proverbs 631.

[00:48:46] But if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold.

[00:48:51] He will give all the goods of his house.

[00:48:55] This verse essentially says that if the thief is caught, they will be punished severely, even to the point of losing their own possessions.

[00:49:06] We've had a lot of crazy news this week.

[00:49:09] It's difficult to absorb it all.

[00:49:12] To recognize or find any common sense in it all.

[00:49:18] But it is easy, unfortunately, very easy, to see how corrupt our government has become.

[00:49:25] It is unrecognizable as we the people, the real government.

[00:49:32] It's hard to recognize it as a free government.

[00:49:36] There seems to be no liberty.

[00:49:40] My substack today will go up later this afternoon.

[00:49:45] And I'm going to address humorously, but definitely, whimsical, nonsensical, political, impractical.

[00:49:57] We're going to talk about the judges and what they said over the transgender.

[00:50:01] We're going to talk about these pardons.

[00:50:03] We're going to talk about the fights.

[00:50:05] And what about, what about the boomerang illegal immigration?

[00:50:12] Did you read yesterday where this one guy has been sent out seven times and he comes right back?

[00:50:19] He's a boomerang.

[00:50:20] That needs to stop.

[00:50:21] My friends, liberty, it's in the hands of the people.

[00:50:30] But first, is it?

[00:52:45] Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty?

[00:52:51] Do we weep for liberty which we have lost?

[00:52:54] Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged?

[00:52:59] Liberty.

[00:53:00] Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society

[00:53:04] from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior, or political views.

[00:53:10] Today, we seem to want restrictions.

[00:53:13] Government micromanaging our lives?

[00:53:15] But do we realize the cost?

[00:53:18] Alexander Hamilton once stated,

[00:53:20] There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism.

[00:53:28] As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others.

[00:53:31] We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free.
