3595 – March 7, 2025 – I Love This Country – as Yakov Smirnoff used to say…
WE ARE FULL OF JOY, PERHAPS IT’S A BIT OF VENGEFUL JOY… BUT WE ARE EXCITED AND FEEL FREE FROM THE DARK CLOUD OF TYRANNY THAT WAS OVER THIS NATION AND WE THE PEOPLE.
However, when I read this headline… I literally laughed out loud: “Scott Bessent Says Tariffs Will Go Up For Any Leader Acting Like ‘Numbskull’” (Justin Trudeau)
I love this country! Trump’s administration seems pointed at the goal of Making America Great Again, and it is somewhat humorous watching the democrats come unglued, is a bit of fun, BUT lest we go too far here: The democrats (curmudgeons) are dangerous. They have no leadership. As the old saying goes: They’re running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
On the subject of chickens: maybe someone should tell the curmudgeons that the chicken came first and when you murder 100 million chickens you destroy the egg market!

[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going? I gotta get home. America, it's time to come home. It's time to come home! By bringing common sense back into the nonsense. Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home. Down this dirt road, you're gonna find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment.
[00:00:28] And now, the woman that wishes the DC occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice. She does not make me come down there. Here's your host, and the voice of Common Sense, Beth Ann. And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today. We're gonna go to the Lord in prayer, and then we're gonna get to it. We got some things I want to talk about. For such time as this, most gracious Heavenly Father, we come before you.
[00:00:58] The body of believers across this great nation and abroad. Many people coming to you, Father. Many people hurting. Many people confused. Father, your children love you. And we lean on you and your understanding because we are confused people. Father, we thank you for the many blessings you've given to us.
[00:01:27] And we ask your forgiveness for the times that we doubt, the times that we sin, the times that we take things into our own hands without consulting with the Father or his word. May we hunger and thirst for your word and your righteousness to commune with you, to be with you.
[00:01:51] Father, I pray for your continued protection over President Donald J. Trump and those that are around him. Father, put before them in their path godly counsel. And, Father, I pray for the Democrat Party that is so, so lost. We can't have what they're doing here in this nation. But, Father, I know that you're concerned about their souls.
[00:02:23] It doesn't matter what they did on Ash Wednesday. Their behavior is horrible. So, Father, I pray that someone in their path will lead them to you. And that they will once again, or they will finally, find that true joy and hope. Not in government. Not in party power.
[00:02:53] But in the King of all kings. And the Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, I pray your blessing upon this show. Help us to have a good time. But to learn something. For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. I love this country. I love this country.
[00:03:20] That's a pretty bad attempt to be Yakov Smirnoff. How many remember the comedian? He was a Russian-American comedian. And he came over here and he'd talk about crazy things here in this country. He goes, I love this country. We are full. Perhaps it's a bit of vengeful joy that we are full of. But we are excited and we feel free.
[00:03:48] Things aren't a whole lot better yet as far as the prices and things like that. But there's this feeling of we're on the right path. I hope we can have patience because it's not going to happen overnight. Free from the dark cloud of tyranny that was over this nation and over we the people. Where we felt like we could do nothing. We felt powerless.
[00:04:15] And of course, just like Dorothy of The Wizard of Oz, we always had the power. However, when I read this headline, I literally laughed out loud and really wanted to know what I was laughing about. Well, it's Scott Benson. And he says tariffs will go up for any leader acting like a numbskull.
[00:04:41] He was referring to Justin Trudeau. I love this country. As Trump's administration seems pointed, they seem to be on the straight and narrow to get their goal. Each one of them has a different part that they're supposed to be taking place in. You know, like Kennedy will be taking care of our health, making America healthy again. But making America great again is their goal.
[00:05:10] And I'm excited about it. I think they're doing a great job. I know things are going to get tough. And I know that there's that part of me, and I'm sure of you, that we doubt. Because we've been down this road before. And of course, it would happen with the Epstein files. We were going to get all the lists and there was nothing. Nothing. So will that really happen?
[00:05:38] But you've got to know, it's humorous to watch the Democrats. Watching the Democrats come unglued is a bit of fun. But lest we go too far enjoying this, the Democrats, the curmudgeon's, are dangerous. They have no leadership. They have Zippo leadership.
[00:06:05] As the old saying goes, they're running around like chickens with their head cut off. On the subject of chickens, maybe someone should tell the curmudgeons that the chicken did come first. And when you murder 100 million chickens, you destroy the egg market. Now, now we'll, they've taken to video again.
[00:06:34] Fighting like everybody was kung fu fighting. Or something like that. I don't watch videos. But these curmudgeons, these Democrat females, they decided to show the world how tough they are. So they're there bouncing and they're pushing their little fists forward as if that makes the rest of us feel safe. Because we think they're tough. I don't think they're tough. I think they're a bunch of sissy pants. That's what I think.
[00:07:03] The curmudgeons are just keeping, they're just, they just keep giving the conservatives fodder for laughter as we shake our heads like, and what is that to do? What good is that going to do?
[00:07:17] And then, I thought, how do these terribly busy people who are trying to take care of the world in the United States of America as representatives and they're making hundreds of thousands of dollars have time to cut dancing prancing videos, fighting videos? By the way, they can't dance. And I'm pretty certain they cannot fight.
[00:07:40] But again, America, while we are laughing at them, we should be aware of the damage their rhetoric is doing. They're calling for violence. And they are literally promoting civil war. We, the people, must understand, these curmudgeons will not give up power easily. They were defeated in November, but that doesn't make any difference to them. They ignore the will of the people.
[00:08:07] They talk about democracy, which is mob rule, which means the majority rules, but that's not what they want because the majority doesn't have the same ideas of them as they do. Consent of the governed is a foreign concept to them. The curmudgeons want war in Ukraine to last forever. The curmudgeons want to continue stealing the American people blind. USAID is their baby.
[00:08:32] The curmudgeons will threaten Supreme Court justices, disrespect the President of the United States, look down on all citizens, promote rape and human trafficking. They will continue this path until they stop winning elections altogether. Right now, they want to encourage war and civil war, violence and civil war.
[00:08:57] It is fun to laugh at them, but we need to keep a close eye on all that they are doing and saying. America is coming back, but we still have many enemies working against us, against the Constitution of the United States. And about 260 of them are sitting in Congress.
[00:09:24] America is coming back, but we, the people, cannot do this.
[00:09:51] We think that Trump and his administration can do it all. We must stand back and help them. Hear ye, hear ye. Read all about it. The American Crisis Continues. In her new book, The American Crisis Continues, Beth Ann elaborates on the crises America faces today. Invasion at the border, insurrections, lawlessness, climate change, and the cry for democracy.
[00:10:21] These are the times that try men's souls. Thomas Paine's words continue to speak to Americans today. We, the people, once again find ourselves under tyranny. In The American Crisis Continues, you'll glean wisdom from our founding fathers and an understanding why belief in Creator God is the foundation of this nation. Liberty is always in the hands of the people, but first, it must be a longing and a lust within their hearts. The American Crisis Continues is a must-read.

Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building. Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble, which are perishable? Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent?
[00:11:18] In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system. When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn? Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets? Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government, but gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth. Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy, fiat dollars and debt.

[00:13:08] He's not a stranger, but he's been so busy, he hasn't been able to join us as much. Daniel Turner is here from Power the Future. Daniel, how are you doing? Oh, Beth, now that I'm talking to you, I'm doing much better. Thank you for having me. You haven't been doing any dance fighting, have you? No, I have not. No, I haven't. You know what? I haven't made a little dance video in quite some time. I think my followers are due, so I'll get on that this afternoon.
[00:13:35] It's not like they have anything else to do, is it? It's strange. I don't know who's advising them. I think it's a 10-year-old. Yeah, you know, and there's that line from the famous Chinese General Sun Tzu, that line of, if your enemy's making a mistake, don't stop him. And Republicans should just let the Democrats continue to make all of these errors.
[00:14:01] I think the Trump administration deserves an awful lot of credit that they are putting out issues where the American people are solidly on their side, because it's driving the Democrats further into the minority, the women in sports, so protect women in sports, for example. You know, there are a lot of issues that are just common sense. President Trump keeps talking about common sense.
[00:14:24] And if the Democrats' plan is everything Trump says is good, we say is bad, Team Trump is like, all right, well, we'll just put all these things out there, and you guys look like a bunch of lunatics. So whoever's advising the Democrats, I'm not going to tell you to change course. I think it's great, but I don't know how you don't see what the rest of us do. Well, apparently I had an article where – if I can find it real quick. I've had trouble finding articles today. I keep printing them off and losing them.
[00:14:53] I don't know how I do that from here to the desk. It's not that far, but that's what happens. But who's the minority speaker? Rashim Hakeem? Is that his name, Hakeem? Hakeem Jeffries. Yeah, there you go, Jeffries. Why can't I remember that? Anyway, he – I guess he told them not to do that on Tuesday night. He told them not to be disruptive. And they didn't listen to him. So they don't have a leader.
[00:15:20] They're running around, like I mentioned in my monologue, like chickens with their heads cut off. And by the way, they need to know the chicken did come first. You can't have eggs without the chicken. But, you know, it's – yeah, I don't think they have any leadership. They're not listening to what they do have. They're just all doing their own thing.
[00:15:40] No, and I thought they're putting their craziness on display at the State of the Union or the joint session really hit the American people hard. It had pretty good ratings. People wanted to see what President Trump had to say. And so people turned in, tuned in. And normally all elected officials are very good at hiding their crazy. It's funny for me to watch them not stand – and I'm sure you've covered this all week.
[00:16:10] It shows you how bad it was that we're still talking about it. It was funny for me to see them not stand for the little kid with cancer, the kid who was the son of the fallen cop that got into West Point. Some very easy things to stand for. But just a couple months ago, boy, oh, boy, did we all see their ads as they were trying to win re-election. You know, I'm Daniel Turner, and I believe in the children. And if you vote for me, I'm going to put, you know, the people of Missouri first because I love the flag.
[00:16:40] And everyone knew it was a lie. But it's so funny that all of the bipartisan spirit and the rah-rah America of the campaign is just gone on the Democrat side. Their real colors are showing, and that's not pink. Pink is not their real color. It's very dark. It's very dark. And it hit me that night.
[00:17:05] I'm not really trying to be necessarily sympathetic to them other than I'm very sad for them. They're lost. I mean, they are totally lost. They don't know what to do without the power that they had. They don't love this country. They don't respect the Constitution. And just not respecting the president, not standing when he walked in, not respecting Melania.
[00:17:30] And then what they, the citizens that were there to be honored, the ones that were murdered, they couldn't stand for them. They couldn't do anything.
[00:17:37] They couldn't do anything.
[00:18:07] They didn't have a primary. They gave them Kamala. Kamala was a disaster. You know, so there's a lot to be angry at. But eventually, no matter how angry you are, it's like a little 13-year-old kid survived cancer. You kind of put your anger aside. But they couldn't do that. They couldn't do that. They couldn't ever give Trump the opportunity to say, you know, look, I brought everyone together to celebrate a kid overcoming cancer.
[00:18:34] They have to maintain that Trump cannot ever unite this country. And that will be true if everything he does you try to divide. So they'll keep us divided as long as possible and as long as people keep them in power. And that's another thing in my monologue. It's not going to stop until we stop putting them in the seats of authority. They just need, the Democrats need to lose.
[00:19:03] And I don't know if you've listened or read anything that I've written here lately, but we're calling them the curmudgeon party right now. Yep. They look like a bunch of old, grumpy people. Even the young ones look old and grumpy because, you know, they just do. They look like old, grumpy people that have no joy in their hearts whatsoever. No. And a lot of just boring, old rhetoric as well.
[00:19:28] That's the really frustrating thing is, you know, every time they talk about Doge, people like Elizabeth Warren say they're trying to steal money and give themselves tax breaks. No one knows what that even means. It's illogical. It doesn't make sense. And the American people are ignoring it. They don't believe Doge is Elon Musk stealing money to give himself a tax break. They see the waste. I thought Trump reading the litany of waste was good.
[00:19:58] Oh, it was really good. Three or four. He listed 15 or 20. Just to hammer in that point, hammer home that point of how much abuse of government there is, how much nonsense there is that we've accepted as normal. So, you know, the American people are siding with the president. He's got a 54 percent approval rating for some reason. It's awesome. And 70 in some things. His approval rate is up in the 70 percentiles in certain topics. It's remarkable.
[00:20:29] And that's because the American people see what he's doing and they believe him. Right? They believe him. And, yeah, I think everyone wishes food prices would start coming down, but they don't put that blame yet on President Trump. The American people are not dumb. And that's what the Democrats seem to forget. And they've been accustomed to lying and having the media cover for them. The American people know President Trump couldn't reverse egg prices in a month. And, you know, I've seen some show, and I can't remember which one it is.
[00:20:59] They do the common sense on the street in D.C., in the swamp area. And, of course, a lot of them don't like Trump. And then they start asking, well, did you know this and that? No, I didn't know that. Well, that's not smart. And then they start agreeing, and they almost become conservatives because the person on the street, the reporter, is telling them, well, this is what they found. Do you know what that means? No, I don't know what that means. Do you want your money going to that? Well, no, I don't want my money going to that. So when people actually have the truth, they make the right decisions.
[00:21:29] My question to you is, and it's my question to myself, how long do you think the American people will stay patient? Because these tariffs are going to take time, and they're going to take their toll at first. We're going to feel pain. How long do you think people can stay vigilant and understand that we've got to ride this out? I don't think they'll have to. I don't think the tariffs will ever be enacted long enough for the pain to become permanent.
[00:21:56] I think President Trump uses tariffs to get people to do what he wants, and the tariffs disappear. He did this back in February. The tariffs were gone by the end of the day. Clearly, Mexico and Canada reneged, and so now he's putting them back. I think by the time the tariffs actually have the slightest bit of impact on our purchasing power, the other countries will have balked.
[00:22:24] And I think President Trump believes that as well. I think people need to just let him start this process. I saw one statistic that Canada has a 280% tariff on American dairy products. Yes. That's not a friend. That's not an ally. I don't care how hard Justin Trudeau cries. A 280% tariff on American farm products is not what friends do.
[00:22:50] And so if President Trump says reciprocal, I'm with him 100%. And, you know, he's got people upset with him. Trudeau does. But I had to laugh at this. I'll let you go with this one because I just had to laugh at this because we have to enjoy this. They've been digging at us for a long time. It's time for us to enjoy a little bit of their pain. But this is Scott Besson, and he said of tariffs, he says, tariffs will go up for any leader acting like a numbskull.
[00:23:18] And he was referring to Justin Trudeau. And I go, that's all American. Anybody acting like a numbskull. I love it. I love it, too. Daniel, look forward to having you back on for a full show. Can't wait. You take care. Thank you, Beth Ann. God bless you. Have a great weekend. God bless you. You're listening to CST Talk Radio. For centuries, those who raise, breed, and work with animals have been revered and lauded for what they do.
[00:26:07] Today, across America, the rights to own and raise animals are under attack by animal rights activists and their increased influence on government and non-government agencies. This onslaught regularly violates protection from legal search and seizure and a citizen's right to due process of the law, all of which are outlined specifically in the U.S. Constitution. Protect your animals, your animal enterprise, and your property from this abuse of power.

[00:27:00] Hello, I'm Mike Lindell, the inventor of MyPillow. For the longest time, I've wanted to come out with the world's most comfortable bedsheets. But up until now, I haven't been able to find anything that held up to my high standards. I've finally found the best cotton in the world in a region where the Sahara Desert, the Nile River, and the Mediterranean Sea all come together to create the ideal weather conditions for growing cotton.
[00:27:25] My new Giza Dream bedsheets are made with this long staple cotton, and I guarantee they'll be the most comfortable sheets you'll ever own. The first night you sleep on my sheets, you'll never want to sleep on anything else. The Giza Dream sheets are available in a variety of colors. And like all of Mike's products, they come with a 60-day money-back guarantee and a 10-year warranty.

This is Beth Ann. I'm going to just talk a little bit more about the curmudgeon party, the Democrats, here for just a second, and then we're going to move on.
[00:28:13] But according to this particular news article, it says the top House Democrats privately confronted disruptors of President Donald Trump's address to Congress. And they said they gave them a come-to-Jesus meeting. Well, I don't think their come-to-Jesus meeting worked because I'm not sure if it was before or after they decided to stand up in the house yesterday and sing,
[00:28:40] We Shall Overcome, which is a Civil War song, which I like the song. I don't have anything, Rudy. And you sang it way better than they did just now. They don't sing well. They don't sing well. I mean, my voice is getting older. I don't sing like I used to. But it's the House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, which I always want to call him something else for some reason. He asked the Democrats not to play havoc during Trump's address and to behave themselves, and they didn't do it.
[00:29:10] So then I guess he got on to them, but you know, it doesn't do any good. They do not have a leader. So Democrat Texas Representative Greg Czar, C-A-S-A-R, told the Daily Caller when he was asked about the right decision, he said for the Democrats to not stand. Was that the right decision? He says,
[00:29:46] So is this in his imagination? Because they did not stand. Their hate for Trump is greater than any love that they might have ever had, which apparently I don't believe they love this country. I don't believe they ever have loved this country. They don't respect Americans at all. They sit there with their sour, grinchy faces. That's from one of my poems. Shame, shame, everyone knows your name. The curmudgeon party.
[00:30:17] The curmudgeon. We're going to have to write a poem about the curmudgeon party. That'll work, right? Did you hear Tim Walsh's answer when that whoever it was asked him who the leader of the Democrat Party was now? The American people. It was a pause. It was like he was thinking, man, do I say Kamala? Do I say Jeffries? Because there isn't anybody. You know, I'm going to make somebody mad if I say anybody. Literally, they're running around like chickens with their head cut off. I don't know. You know, I think if we wear pink, that'll be great.
[00:30:45] I think if you share a demonstration, they kick you out, it'll look really good for us. I think we should not stand or clap for anything Trump says or does. Just stay glued to your seat. And as Pelosi did, sit there with your cane and move your teeth around in your mouth because apparently she can't afford dentures. It looked like she brought it up to her mouth a couple of times like she wished it was the top of a vodka bottle or something. I was like, oh. Maybe it's got a little flask at the top of it.
[00:31:15] Maybe it did. It looked kind of fancy. Yeah. All right. Then this dancing thing. It's even hard for the – of course, maybe they're coming back around because they have lost so many of their viewers. I used to watch Jimmy Kimmel. He's talented. He's funny. I didn't always – but I did – I stopped watching him when he started going political anti-Trump. He ceased to be funny and I don't watch him anymore.
[00:31:42] But even he was embarrassed by these girls dancing. They looked foolish. Just like their little, you know, ping pong paddles that they were holding up with signs on it. Do they not know what people are going to do to that? I think I saved one where people were putting memes on them and it's hysterical. I don't even know how to do that, but people do know how to do that. They're very funny.
[00:32:13] Gutfeld's been having a blast with it on your show. Oh, my gosh. I think I deleted it. But it was so funny that they did that. And knowing – do they think that they're smarter than everyone else and nobody's going to actually check anything out that they've done? But – or make fun of anything that they've done? Anyway, it's – I couldn't find it. It wouldn't let me open my phone.
[00:32:41] But they're lost. And they're going to continue to lose as long as they continue to run around like chickens with their head cut off. Now, let's get serious now because there's nothing serious about the Democrat Party. Let's get serious, except there is. You need to be careful because they are asking for a civil war. In fact, in their eyes, we're already in one.
[00:33:09] So Europe is being a little disruptive with the plans for peace that Trump is trying to put out there. And I attempted a week ago to try and share with you the history of what's going on and what they don't want any of the American people to realize – or maybe Trump. I think Trump's too smart for them, though. But they are pulling the strings and yanking Zelensky around and telling him, no, Trump needs to get this.
[00:33:38] You need to demand this from Trump, and you need to do this. And I won't go into the details here. But Zelensky said he was prepared, and he wants to do this. But they're telling him, no, not without security. You need to have security. And this will include deterrent forces that would respond militarily if to Russia's violations of ceasefire. In other words, they want boots on the ground.
[00:34:08] And they really want U.S. boots on the ground. They don't really want their people on the ground. So why is this – why did Putin do this? And why did Putin do it when Obama was president? Why is this going on? What is the big burr under his saddle? Well, this came from Carl Higbee. And I thought he did an excellent job putting this together. And he starts out,
[00:34:37] Before I go any further, let me be clear that I think Putin is a commie who murders his political opponents, throws journalists in jail, and among other things, he has violated multiple international treaties, including the Budapest Memorandum. But he says, let's take seven seconds – it took a lot more than seven seconds – to look through history through the eyes of Putin. Because defeating your enemy means you have to know your enemy.
[00:35:05] What was Putin's goal this entire time since 1980? Putin's goal is always and always has been to keep NATO off his borders. That's the goal. In 1991, there was an agreement that reunified Germany after they tore down that wall. That would have been Reagan.
[00:35:33] During negotiations in February of 1990, U.S. Secretary of State James Baker told Soviet leader Gorbachev that NATO's jurisdiction of forces would not move, and I quote, he said, one inch eastward from their current position if the Soviets accepted German unification in NATO. Now, he says, fast forward to 1994,
[00:36:02] when Clinton signed off on expanding NATO, and in 1999, Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic officially joined NATO. Russia wasn't happy and had their objections, but they actually had no leverage to negotiate because they had just collapsed in the Soviet Union. The USSR ceased to be. Fast forward now to 2004,
[00:36:31] where Lithuania, Leftivia, Estonia, they also share the border with Russia, and they were also, and then they also added Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, all of those were added to NATO. And Russia, again, was super ticked off about this, and they said, hold on, this is not what we agreed to. So who broke the treaty?
[00:36:59] When my husband was saying that, who broke the treaty, the Indians or the white guys? Who broke this treaty? Now, Russia, Putin's not a good guy. There's no way to get around that. He's not a good guy. But NATO didn't care. And then in 2008, NATO summit, a bunch of leaders issued a declaration that signaled a strong support for Ukraine and Georgia to eventually join NATO. Once again, two more countries that border Russia.
[00:37:28] And as you can see, the declaration of 2008, paragraph 23 says, NATO welcomes Ukraine and Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations for membership into NATO, who broke the treaty. What ticked Putin off? Not that it takes a whole lot. I think he's a little ill-tempered anyway. But we can kind of see what he's doing. We'll be right back.

I'm trying to kind of comb through this because Ukraine is not a member of, it's not an official member of NATO. And in 2008, when they made this decision
[00:42:21] regarding Georgia and the Euro-Atlantic aspirations for membership into NATO, that was under George W. Bush. Bush. So then in 2008, progressed, it said, okay, so now Putin's even more angry and he went to war in Georgia to stop NATO membership. Now that would have been under Obama. Obama was elected in 2008. So they did this under Bush, but then
[00:42:50] now Obama's inherited the wrath of Putin. And he says, people forget this stuff. And then in 2010, we put missile systems, NATO in Poland and Romania and the Ukraine president, Viktor Yankovic, was expressly elected on neutrality in Ukraine, which Putin was cool with. But Russia and Ukraine were simultaneously
[00:43:19] negotiating 25-year lease in Crimea for a Russian naval base. However, fast forward again, 2014, while the U.S. tried to overthrow their Ukrainian leaders, that never works well when we do this, which would have potentially put Russian bases there in jeopardy, those negotiations led to Russia taking control of Crimea because they were like, we're not going to deal with this anymore. They're done with it.
[00:43:48] Our president at that time was Obama. He says, keep in mind, Russia had also invested heavily in natural gas in the region of Ukraine, was pumping most of it over to the EU now rather than Russia. Then you had the Minsk Agreement that NATO gave autonomy to Russian-speaking bordering areas like Donbass, that is eastern side of Ukraine, and then the U.S.
[00:44:17] and Ukraine just decided not to enforce that. Then in January of 2022, Anthony Blinken, Biden's secretary of state, Russian foreign minister to Lavrov, decided that the U.S. reserves the right to put missile systems in Ukraine. One month later, Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine, and like, raise your hand
[00:44:47] if you saw that coming, he says. This is kind of, in his language, this is what Carl Higbee was telling us. This is all a part of history, and it's a part they don't want you to know. They don't want you to understand. We're the ones who upset the apple cart time after time after time after time. That does not mean Putin's a good guy. Putin is not a good guy. But you don't ruffle the feathers of a guy that you already know
[00:45:17] is willing to take whatever he wants. He doesn't care how many people die on his side, your side, anybody's side. Russia demanded demilitarization, and what happened? Zelensky walked away from those peace talks because he wanted NATO membership. Now, as he says, what would we think if Cuba did this? If Cuba came in
[00:45:45] and did something on our border, say Mexico or anywhere else, Panama. Panama is a big deal right now. I think we'd be upset too. Like I said, this doesn't excuse Putin. He's a killer. He's no good. But let me tell you something. Zelensky's no good either. And the EU are not trying to do what is best for anything in regards to peace.
[00:46:17] They're globalists. You have to remember that. Now, let's end on a little nicer note. We're going into the weekend. Earlier this week, I was listening to some music. Celtic Thunder. And they were doing the song My Land. And I thought about this. How green are your valleys? How blue are your skies?
[00:46:46] Your mountains stand tall in their glory. Your rivers run free. The bright stars are your eyes. Your beauty is endless before me. That's anybody's country. I do love this country. And then the Celtic women were singing a song, Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears. And it's basically, it's a song of the Irish. And they came over, a 15-year-old girl who came over here
[00:47:16] from Ireland. On the first day of January, 1892, they opened Ellis Island and they let the people through. And the first to cross the threshold of that Isle of Hope and Tears was Annie Moore from Ireland who was all of 15 years. Isle of Hope. Isle of Tears. Isle of Freedom. Isle of Fears. Isle of Peace. But it's not the isle
[00:47:45] you left behind. That isle of hunger. Isle of pain. Isle you'll never see again. But the isle of home is always on your mind. The little bag she carried all her past and history. And her dreams for the future in the land of liberty. And courage is the passport when your old world disappears. But there's no future in the past. When you're 15 years.
[00:48:16] Isle of Hope. Isle of Tears. Isle of Freedom. Isle of Fears. But it's not the isle you left behind. The isle of hunger. Isle of pain. Isle you'll never see again. But the isle of home is always on your mind. There's several verses to that song. And I was moved. I just moved to tears. They're singing about the land they left.
[00:48:45] But the land that they are now on is America. We welcome immigrants that want to be here. That want to have that opportunity. Our arms are open wide for those who really want to be Americans. Those who have crossed the border illegally. That's not what they're about. We've become this big bureaucracy
[00:49:14] that just delves out money and it's not good. And I wrote this poem. I won't necessarily read it to you because I feel now I need to write a new one. But we have lost there for a time. And I feel we're getting it back. And I wrote I want to go home. America I would read a little bit. America I'm a stranger here. Our liberty has disappeared. The liberty that
[00:49:44] this little girl of all the 15 years came and was on Ellis Island. We tossed it away like it had no value. But it does have that. And our homeland we have the blue oceans. We have the blue running waters and the rivers and the creek beds. And we have the green land. We have the golden wheat.
[00:50:14] We have it all here. It's a land flowing with milk and honey. And liberty. But it's here for opportunities. It's here for growth. I love this country. And it's not a joke. As Biden would say. But it truly isn't a joke. It's a matter of the heart. And it's the heart that will bring America home.

[00:51:46] Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty? Do we weep for liberty which we have lost? Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged? Liberty. Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior or political views. Today we seem to want restrictions. Government micromanaging our lives? But do we realize the cost?
[00:52:17] Alexander Hamilton once stated, There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism. As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others. We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free. Visit csctalkradio.com where Beth Ann puts enthusiasm and common sense back into American liberty as she brings America home.
