[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going? I gotta get home. America, it's time to come home. It's time to come home! By bringing common sense back into the nonsense. Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home. Down this dirt road, you're going to find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment.

[00:00:28] And now, the woman that wishes the DC occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice. Do not make me come down there. Here's your host, and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann. And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It's my honor and my privilege and my pleasure to be here with you today. And it is, there's weather today. I guess there's weather every day. But this is weather that they're all talking about. I always get on to them for tracking it.

[00:00:58] Bringing it in here. But anyway, we're getting ready to have some storms. There were storms over the weekends. We need to remember our American brothers and sisters in Kentucky and Tennessee and other places that were hit really bad this weekend. You don't think about these big floods coming in the wintertime. But they did, and then they were followed by winter weather. And it's just, it's bad. They had, last I heard, they had at least eight deaths. And they're expecting that to rise.

[00:01:28] As they find people when the waters recede, I guess, as they continue to look for them. Sad times. We are in some pretty horrific times. And no, it's not climate change doing it. But let's go to the Lord in prayer. And let's be sure to remember our brothers and sisters in the South. There, they got hit really bad this weekend.

[00:01:54] For such a time as this, most gracious Heavenly Father, we do ask your blessings. Your comfort. Your wisdom. As our fellow brothers and sisters in the South. Find themselves trying to come back from a horrific storm. While their lives were taken. Lives are missing.

[00:02:25] So I pray for them as they go through this. I just can't imagine. Not knowing where my loved one is. My neighbor. My friends. My home being gone. I can't imagine that has happened. But Father, we do pray that you will put your arms around them.

[00:02:51] We live in a broken world and we understand that tragedies and disease and things like this happen. But help those, Father. And help us to know how to help them. Just as we need to help those in California coming back from their terrible ordeal. And those in North Carolina are still trying to come back.

[00:03:23] Father, the storms of life are here. But you are our rescuer. You are our strength. In you we stand. And in you we praise. Father, I pray for President Donald J. Trump. I pray that you will continue to put your hedge of protection around him. Keep him safe. All those around him. His family.

[00:03:53] His friends. His administration. Father, I pray that you will put a burden on those who are fighting in this country to tear it down. Put a burden upon them, Father. And may they shrink. Father God, I pray your blessing on all who are listening.

[00:04:24] I don't know what they're going through. But I know life deals us some pretty rough deals sometimes. Been there, done that. And I just pray, Father, for them right now. I praise them. I pray for them. And I lift them up in their joy. And I want to comfort them in their sorrows.

[00:04:51] I ask your blessing on today's show as we move forward here, Father. May we have a little fun. May we share some wisdom. May we stand together as a country. May we stand together as your children and disciples to share the good news. For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So I have some headlines I just thought I'd throw out.

[00:05:19] And then I've got some other things we're going to talk about. This one actually came last Friday. I saw it. The EPA Chief Lee Zeldin locates and demands a return of $20 billion. That's with a B. Like in boy billion dollars that the Biden officials tried to funnel to left-wing groups. This is the EPA here. They care so much about the environment that they funneled that money somewhere else. Probably to some of their green buddies. I don't know.

[00:05:50] Then there was a report that HHS went on a $22.6 billion taxpayer spending spree for migrants. They're not migrants. They're illegal aliens. I wished all these writers would get that correct. They're not migrants. Migrants come in here for a purpose. These people came across to find a purpose.

[00:06:15] And last week, Robert Kennedy Jr. was confirmed as Human Health Services Secretary. Barely. But he was. 52 to 48. All Democrats voted against him and so did McConnell. Pankaj Patel is up this week. We need to make sure that these Republicans hold the line.

[00:06:45] I wonder how many phone calls or if it would even help. It would take for Mitch McConnell to vote for Kash Patel. The phone number for you to call is 222. I'm sorry. 202-224-3121. That's 202-224-3121. Americans have got to keep their voices loud.

[00:07:11] AOC picks a fight with the worst possible Trump official after a live stream stunt. Now, she did a live stream telling illegal aliens how to avoid ICE. Tom Homan has to sing her a song. And it's called law. Federal law. So, as I was going through all the news today. And actually, I sat down before I'd even looked at some of the news. And I was thinking.

[00:07:42] I was looking at the headlines. And, of course, the one with AOC trying to think she can outsmart Tom Homan. It was kind of comical. Democrats are what? If you were going to describe a Democrat, what would you say? Well, before we can say what they are, perhaps we need to establish what they are not.

[00:08:04] While they believe themselves superior to everyday Americans and Republicans, we shall take a solace in these things. We should take a solace in these things. Democrats, they aren't smarter than us. They aren't tougher than us. And I'm not talking about us as Republicans. I'm talking about us as we the people. They're not clever in what they're doing.

[00:08:35] They're not the majority, although they think they are. They aren't organized with a plan, except a plan to disrupt. They have no plan for Americans. Their goal is to save their beloved golden calf, which is the fourth branch of government, which is unconstitutional. It doesn't really exist. And that branch is the branch of bureaucracy. Democrats are very loud. They are obnoxious. They are wrong.

[00:09:05] They are bullies. And they are caught. They are violent. And they are desperate. And they are old. Just about as old as their ideas. They only have a few that are young. And they're not very smart. They got AOC and some of those others. And they're not very smart. Booker who thinks he's Spartaca. I want to finish this when we come back. And then we're going to move on to something Johnny Ernst is doing. I'm going to give her a kudos for this.

[00:09:33] And I think it's something we need to realize. It's been going on for a long time. It's not what our founding fathers envisioned for us in a free and independent America. You're listening to CSC Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann. We'll be right back.

[00:09:47] Hear ye, hear ye. Read all about it. The American Crisis Continues. In her new book, The American Crisis Continues, Beth Ann elaborates on the crises America faces today. Invasion at the border. Insurrections.

[00:10:17] Lawlessness. Climate change. And the cry for democracy. These are the times that try men's souls. Thomas Paine's words continue to speak to Americans today. We the people once again find ourselves under tyranny. In The American Crisis Continues, you'll glean wisdom from our founding fathers and an understanding why belief in Creator God is the foundation of this nation. Liberty is always in the hands of the people.

[00:10:44] But first, it must be a longing and a lust within their hearts. The American Crisis Continues is a must read. Order your copy today at csctalkradio.com or amazon.com. Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives. Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building. Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble, which are perishable?

[00:11:14] Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent? In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system. When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn? Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets? Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government, but gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth. Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy, fiat dollars and debt.

[00:13:08] So I was talking about what Democrats are as opposed to what they're not. We're going to say what they aren't. They believe themselves smart, but they're not smart. And I think the fact that they believe themselves smart makes them a little bit dangerous. They might think they're tough, but they're not tough. They're not tougher than the average American out here. And they're not clever.

[00:13:34] AOC thought she was clever when she put up that, did a webinar, I guess, kind of, so to speak, a video she put out there telling illegal aliens how to avoid ICE. So what she did was actually against the law. But she thought she was clever. And they aren't the majority. If you hear them screaming, even on the media, not just the Democrats in the streets,

[00:14:03] they're not the majority. They're not. And I think that's one thing that has excited the American people from November 5th. Not only did Trump win, he won bigly. Huge, huge, huge. And so we realize there's more of us out here than we thought there were. In fact, it has grown. And I'll explain that here in a little bit with another article that's very exciting.

[00:14:34] They're not organized with a plan. And I have an article about that from Victor Davis Hanson. Except they have a plan to disrupt. And if you know that I do like to watch Levin. And over the weekend, he did talk about their lawfare, their continual unconstitutional steps to disrupt what President Donald J. Trump is doing. And I'm looking at it.

[00:15:01] Not only are they going after him, but because they know we, the people, want it. But, see, they don't care what we, the people, want. And that's why I said they were caught. So Democrats are loud. Democrats are obnoxious. They're wrong. They're going to be found wrong in the Supreme Court.

[00:15:24] But Trump is half, but as they try to pause each one of his steps, he and Elon Musk, which I think is kind of funny, that they will, which says they're not smart or clever, they keep hollering about Elon's not an elected official, and neither are those federal judges. They're not elected. President Trump was elected. And he's doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing under the executive order, I mean, under the executive branch. He's upholding the law.

[00:15:55] Biden broke the law when he allowed all these illegal aliens to come into this country. He broke federal law. And he should have been impeached. He should have been jerked out of there. But we all know that he wasn't the one in charge. It was this branch of bureaucracy that's been in charge.

[00:16:21] The left or the Democrats are also bullies. They will threaten you. They will go after you. Look what they've done. I don't think he's necessarily an honest man, but look what they've done to Eric Adams. They, air quotes, trumped up charges on him or exaggerated things that he did. And so Trump's in trouble for giving him a pardon.

[00:16:51] And something else they are is caught. They are caught literally with their britches down. Not that that matters to them. And something else that you need to be aware of, they are violent. And they are desperate. In my life, and there has been many times, especially with the show here, when I was all alone in here and had nobody for several years, it was just Beth running it all,

[00:17:23] I would make some pretty bad decisions because I was desperate. Desperate to get the bills paid. I didn't rob anything. I didn't make anything. But somebody would dangle a carrot in front of me, and I'd go for it. Because I felt backed into a corner. I felt desperate like I had no other course, no other recourse. And I got took.

[00:17:52] I got took from a man who called himself a pastor. He took $400 from me. That doesn't sound like much. But it was a whole lot. And I couldn't get it back. And I'll never say anything good about this man, if anybody asks me. And they have. And I'll tell them. He stole $400 from me. Democrats are greedy. They see your money as theirs.

[00:18:20] You see, you don't deserve to have anything. You have no rights to that money, or you have no right to know how they're spending that money. And they are haters. They're very sad, really, when you stop and think about it. And they make them, that makes them dangerous and unpredictable. Oh, one thing I should have added. They are terrible bad singers. I'd rather be waterboarded

[00:18:48] than to listen to them stand out there and sing their made-up songs. Just absolutely... Terrible. Terrible. And they have to, because they're desperate, they have to... What do you call it? They have to get down in the gutter. They are in the gutter. And I don't know that they're ever going to get back up.

[00:19:19] But their true identity is showing as they use the horrific language that they are using at a president of the United States. When did we come to such things that we can talk like that about a president of the United States? I didn't like President Obama, but I didn't stand out there on the street and call him names and curse. Maybe some people did.

[00:19:48] I didn't see the Republicans doing that, but then I didn't see the Republicans fighting him a whole lot either. All right. This is something Johnny Ernst is introducing, a bill to scale back... Are you ready for this? Because this is huge. Huge. To scale back taxpayer-funded perks for ex-presidents who are rolling in the dough. The legislation is titled the Presidential Allowance Modernization Act. Why don't they just say cut the pension on the presidents?

[00:20:18] I mean, what do they have to... Anyway. It would provide former presidents with pension of $200,000 a year. I still think it's too much. And $200,000 allowance per year with the cost of living adjustments every year. But the bill would reduce the allowance if the former president earned more than $400,000 a year. And we know that's Clinton and Obama and Michelle and all of them. Of course, she's not an ex-president.

[00:20:47] They make more than $400,000 in one speech. Anyway. Ernst told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the former presidents making massive amounts of money after their presidencies, taxpayers shouldn't be footing their bills. And I agree. I think we should see if, say, if they have a net worth of X amount of dollars, they get nothing. That doesn't go this far.

[00:21:12] From speaking gigs to Netflix deals, with much more, former presidents have been raking in the dough. Americans should not be on the hook to support those who clearly are having no issues supporting themselves. I think if they own more than one home, they shouldn't get anything. The common sense bill flips Washington on its head

[00:21:41] by finally prioritizing taxpayers over politicians. Ernst's legislation would also, now this one I thought was really kind of weird, would also increase the pension for surviving spouses of former presidents to $100,000 a year. Right now, they're only getting $20,000. $20,000. And she's going to up it to $100,000. Under the current law, former presidents receive a pension

[00:22:09] equivalent to the salary of the cabinet secretary along with an office allowance of $115,000 a year. Cut it out. They don't need an office allowance. I don't get an allowance for having an office in my home. Or here. I don't get one here either. $115,000 a year to pay off, to pay a staff for the first two and a half years before it drops to $96,000 per year.

[00:22:41] If you are running a business of, say, speaking engagements, pay your own staff. If you're receiving $400,000 to $500,000 per speech, which some of them do, pay your own staff. Pay your own phone bills. This is ridiculous. So we're going to continue with this, and I have a little more to add to it, as I always do,

[00:23:10] because that's who I am, I guess. This is insane. I knew we had a pension for them, and I'm okay with a pension. But to continue to get a salary? Oh yeah, and George W. Bush, he didn't think he made enough money at $400,000 a year for president. Hmm. What do you think they need? If you're listening to CSC Talk Radio, this is Beth Ann. We'll be right back.

Today, across America, the rights to own and raise animals are under attack by animal rights activists and their increased influence on government and non-government agencies. This onslaught regularly violates protection from illegal search and seizure and a citizen's right

So, Joni Ernst has this bill before, and it was there before. She did this back in 2016 which she had to know, Obama vetoed it. So,

[00:28:22] it did pass and I guess Obama vetoed it which is kind of, I guess at that point in time they might have had a majority there in the House or Senate or whatever. So, in this it said it would impose onerous and unreasonable burdens on the offices of former presidents including by requiring the General Services Administration to immediately

[00:28:51] terminate salaries and benefits of office employees and to remove furnishings and equipment from offices. This is what Obama, the reason Obama vetoed it. It would be a burden on them to remove their furniture or just pay for it. Oh well. Anyway, it would withdraw the General Services Administration's ability to administer leases and negatively impact operations with unanticipated implications for the protection and security of former presidents.

[00:29:22] Did any of that make any sense to you, really and truly? Former President Bill Clinton has a net worth of $120 million. Former President George W. Bush his net worth is $40 million. Do you think that the American people should be continuing to pay for salaries to them? Pensions? I can understand a pension. I can understand

[00:29:52] that. But not salaries. The White House will not immediately respond to the request for a comment. I got a feeling I know how President Trump would vote on this. I mean, after all, he didn't really hesitate too long to withdraw their security clearance study. The President they all hate

[00:30:22] is now once again doing his job which we, the people, elected him to do but he's doing it for free. Not taking a salary. And so is Elon Musk. What was it last week we talked about and I'm going to get it wrong. I was going to look it up. Patriotism, a good patriot is protecting your country from its government. And that's what

[00:30:51] Elon and Donald Trump are doing right now. If anybody knows how evil the government can be, it's President Trump. Career politicians believe themselves to be elite and spend their lives taking from the country and adding nothing. What has Obama added to this country since he's no longer President? What has

[00:31:21] Bill Clinton actually added to this country since he quit being President? I don't know of anything they've produced. Usually you make a salary for producing something. I'm against them continuing to get a salary. I'm okay with them getting a pension. I might have to think about that. I may change my mind on that too. What did they actually produce?

[00:31:53] So I received this thought this morning from a listener after this listener sends me things from time to time and he sent me a picture of them. The illegal aliens carrying their flags and demanding to stay here in the United States. They're not carrying the USA flag. They're carrying their flags. If those flags mean so much to them go back to those countries. That's what we were saying when I was texting with this listener.

[00:32:23] In fact I just texted I think we should burn their flags. And I'm serious about that. But this is what he sent me in return. Also my thought this morning. I have never had a rich person take my money. I have bought things from them. I have taken pay in agreement for services rendered. The government however takes

[00:32:53] money out of every paycheck I earn. Every year for my property and every time I buy something they take part of it. I'm okay with this with the understanding I will have protection from enemies foreign and domestic have good roads and good education for my children. But we have bad roads declining education and our military

[00:33:23] a military that no longer wins wars or puts fear in the enemies and crime is running rampant. I do not want to pay for transgender comic books in Peru or any other nonsense such as this. So when you stop and think about it how they take money from you at every turn because you

[00:33:53] mean nothing to them. The Democrats they're not complaining about oh my gosh this money was lost oh my gosh this money was sent over here for this or that no they don't want you to know where that money went they believe your money is their money and they have the right to spend you into oblivion to spend my great grandchildren into oblivion by the way as my family grows I found out last night

[00:34:23] I'm going to be another a great grandmother again and I'm very excited about it as my granddaughter was very excited about it my very first grandchild was a girl I had all boys if you're tuning in I raised five sons and I have 17 grandchildren and five greats soon to be six and I am a long way from the greats because I have a

[00:35:04] she thinks she is cute and clever but she is really rather dumb she doesn't know her constitution and in this article she put something on X and she was misspelling everything actually she was putting caps and caps and lower case in a sentence and maybe she's going to be in trouble now

[00:35:34] she was mocking him maybe he can learn laws so she's out there doing this and he

[00:36:04] sent an email to the deputy attorney general at what level is that impediment is that impediment what AOC did with her let me back up because I think I talked about it in the first segment with her video telling illegal aliens how to avoid ICE he says I'm not an attorney I'm not a prosecutor is that impediment

[00:36:35] is that impeding our law enforcement efforts if so what are we going to do about it is she crossing the line so I'm working with the department of justice and what she was mocking but I need the AOG to

[00:37:05] opine on this because there's an impediment it's impediment in my opinion I'm not a prosecutor but we need some further guidance on that wouldn't you love to see Tom Holman personally go and arrest AOC cuff remember when she did the fake cuffing and had her hand behind her back she needs a real one where it about pulls her arms out of socket that's what she needs that girl

[00:37:35] needs a come to Jesus moment I think Tom Holman can

[00:42:12] something a little different here, but yet it's the same thing. It's the nonsense. And if you'll remember, I've said this in the last several weeks a few times, our nation was never ever supposed to be run by executive orders and lawsuits. We have a constitution. It isn't complicated, but it became

[00:42:38] complicated because we have a lot of lawyers and they like to play with words. And this has to do with the new executive order that's protecting women in sports. It says in this, National Collegiate Athletic Association may only be pretending to comply with executive order keeping men out of women's

[00:43:05] sports. Jennifer Sy, or Say, it's S-E-Y, who is a former U.S. gymnast champion, says the NCAA's new policy claims to comply with Trump's order, yet leaves itself two loopholes through which men who identify as women may continue to participate as student-athletes in women's sports. One new loophole

[00:43:33] is in the new policy is a clause that allows them to duck accountability by stating that member schools will remain responsible for certifying student-athlete eligibility for practice and competition. In other words, the school gets to make the case, and if a school happens to be a woke school,

[00:43:59] then they're going to allow it. She says an even bigger loophole, which is called out, is that the NCAA new policy states that they will determine who is what sex based on the athlete's birth certificate, which can be changed in all but six states. So if a male

[00:44:27] wants to be a female and he lives in one of these other states, he can have his birth certificate changed to say female, and the NCAA will accept the male into the female athlete, whatever.

[00:44:49] A birth certificate is a record of fact, and it can now be altered to change, literally. Facts don't matter, do they? All that is required is a signed statement of identity and a photo ID for the mother or father listed on the birth certificate. What? This practice of changing one's birth certificate is called gender marker correction.

[00:45:17] It's not a correction. It's a lie, she says. She goes on to say, The NCAA policy is no policy at all. There are loopholes upon loopholes upon loopholes, and mostly the NCAA wants to appear to satisfy the executive order

[00:45:37] while allowing the gender ideologues and whiny, screamy, failed male athletes to still have their way and validate their kooky identities. The Democrats and the left do not want to protect women. In fact, they hate women. They can't even identify you. They want to be like you. They want to dress like you. They want to wear makeup like you. But they hate you.

[00:46:05] I guess they hate you because they aren't you. I don't understand it. I never in my life, and I was what they call a tomboy. Anyway, I had my sister is nine years older than I am, so she was pretty much grown up when I was of playing age. I had two older brothers. One's four years older than me. One's three years older. The one that's four years older is the Marine that you hear me talk about every once in a while. And I have a younger brother. He's four years younger than me.

[00:46:37] We also lived in a neighborhood that was pretty much all boys. Finally, there was a pastor, parsonage across the street, and a pastor moved in there that had two daughters. One was just like a year or two younger than me. But it was an all-boy neighborhood. I was the only girl. If I didn't want to... And so I got out in the dirt, and I played with trucks and cars, and I did all kinds of things.

[00:47:01] I was a tomboy. I'm not anymore, mostly. But it's a good thing that that's happened to me, because then I had the Lord blessed me with all boys. So, you know, I'm the mother who had to go capture a tarantula. That was no fun. I don't like spiders. And I had to get a jar to get a crawdad or whatever, crayfish, so they could take it to school.

[00:47:29] I'm that mom. Didn't like doing it, but I did it. So I was a tomboy. But I never thought I was a boy, and I never wanted to be a boy. I always wanted to grow up and be a mommy. Until I became a mommy. No, I'm just kidding. So here we are. We're finding ourselves in this world, in the United States.

[00:47:55] And I had this idea last night. When we had the Revolutionary War, we were a divided nation. And those who wanted independence and liberty, they were the minority. So let that sink in a minute, okay? Those who want to take this country down, they're in the minority.

[00:48:24] That doesn't mean they're going to win. But they've tried to convince us, and they still are with their protests and their horrible singing and their slurs and everything. They're trying to convince us that America doesn't like Trump. No, America loves Trump. Let me share something with you real fast because we're running out of time. This was on the Daily Caller.

[00:48:49] And this is a woman who voted against Trump in both 2016 and 2020, but not now. And she says she voted for him because of how Biden's administration was treating parents and children. Okay, this is the wrong article. So I'm going to have to go wing it here.

[00:49:18] Anyway, she said now, she said I voted for him and I did it like you would hold your nose. You know, I'm going to do it, but I don't like it. But she says I don't feel that way now. I don't feel that way now. Every time he does something, I'm happy. I'm happy with everything he's done.

[00:49:46] This is a woman that was anti-Trump in 2016 and anti-Trump in 2020. The Democrats are not smart enough to figure out they just lost the females with their stupidity, with their nonsense. Except for those motherless cat lovers. Sorry. I like kitty cats too, but I have children. People ask me why I didn't have a lot of animals. I say because I've got a lot of animals already in the house. I raised five boys.

[00:50:16] I know what it's like. But anyway, her words should bring joy to your heart. She is ecstatic that she voted for Trump. And if you watch these Democrats protesting, they'd have you think that everybody hates him. But they're making lovers of America, lovers of Trump. And if there's one thing that was precious, it was seeing him and his grandchild walking across there at NASCAR yesterday, bringing America home.

Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty? Do we weep for liberty which we have lost? Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged? Liberty.

[00:52:00] Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior, or political views. Today we seem to want restrictions. Government micromanaging our lives? But do we realize the cost? Alexander Hamilton once stated, There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism.

[00:52:28] As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others. We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free. Visit csctalkradio.com, where Bethann puts enthusiasm and common sense back into American liberty as she brings America home. Hi, this is Bethann.
