3554 – January 9, 2025 – Climate Change Did Not Burn SoCal, The Progressives Did – NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DAY!

As I’m preparing for today’s show the funeral for Former President Jimmy Carter is taking place. WE spoke earlier this week about him… not a good president… a pretend decent man… with a watered-down Christian faith that he separated from his politics, he was a democrat first…

Global warming did not Scorch the earth in California. The policies of the democrats / (congress) the climate change radicals … subsidized scorched earth for Americans.

LA’s Mayor, with a deer in the headlight look, REFUSES to answer reporter’s questions about her scorched city! Naught-a word… glassy-eyed-arrogant stare forward; completely ignoring the questions… She could have said, “Hey, I just landed from a very nice Africa vacation… I’ve been briefed and I’ll make a statement later.” BUT NO – Naught-a word -she didn’t even attempt to make eye contact! She might be a brave LGBTQ-DEI wonder… BUT she’s not a leader who cares a snip about those whom she is to govern… and care for.

Good luck getting those permits to rebuild, you Hollywood LEFTEST wonders! Just when you thought all those LEFTEST DEI policies would not affect your lives, you will soon find out the truth. I’m not happy about it because what you have supported is not only hurting YOU but hundreds of thousands of innocents are now suffering.

[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going?

[00:00:03] I gotta get home.

[00:00:04] America, it's time to come home.

[00:00:08] It's time to come home!

[00:00:09] By bringing common sense back into the nonsense.

[00:00:13] Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home.

[00:00:21] Down this dirt road, you're gonna find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment.

[00:00:28] And now, the woman that wishes the DC occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice.

[00:00:34] Do not make me come down there.

[00:00:35] Here's your host, and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann.

[00:00:41] And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio.

[00:00:44] It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today.

[00:00:48] We're gonna go straight to the Lord in prayer, and then we'll get on with the show.

[00:00:53] For such a time with this, for such a time as this, most gracious Heavenly Father, once again we come to you.

[00:01:02] It amazes me as a body of believers across this nation and abroad, all come together at this hour,

[00:01:10] whatever hour that may be, wherever they are, to pray, to praise you, to come together,

[00:01:19] Father, acknowledge that we are children of God, the one and only God, Creator, Savior.

[00:01:33] Father, we do thank you for your love, your grace, and your mercy.

[00:01:37] And Father, we have a special request for those in California.

[00:01:42] I hope just one person lost my home, and I know how devastating it is.

[00:01:49] But whole communities are gone.

[00:01:55] Landmarks are gone.

[00:01:59] Father, lead them.

[00:02:02] Comfort them.

[00:02:05] Put your arms around them, Father, and let them know tomorrow's a better day.

[00:02:14] May they put their hope and trust in you, Father.

[00:02:19] Give them the strength they're gonna need to push forward.

[00:02:23] And the wisdom.

[00:02:26] My heart just breaks for them.

[00:02:31] There's lots of sin in this world.

[00:02:34] Lots of violence.

[00:02:38] And, Father, all the children that are missing, I think of them much worse than losing a home in a fire.

[00:02:47] They've lost their lives.

[00:02:50] Their freedom.

[00:02:52] They are enslaved.

[00:02:55] I pray, Father, we can find them and rescue them.

[00:03:03] And that they will come to know you.

[00:03:07] So, Father, as we go forward with the show today, I ask your blessing upon Melody and her business and how she reacts with her customers and her friends.

[00:03:22] Father, just bless her life.

[00:03:26] I pray for the protection of this nation, even though I know we do not deserve it.

[00:03:31] I pray for your hedge of protection around President Donald J.

[00:03:34] Trump and all those around him.

[00:03:40] But, Father, may we always go forth in love, knowing that you are still on your throne, regardless of the tragedies and the violence that we face.

[00:03:56] For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name.

[00:04:00] Amen.

[00:04:02] Today is National Law Enforcement Day.

[00:04:06] Rudy and I both know people very close to us that are in law enforcement.

[00:04:10] We wish them the very best, the happiest of day.

[00:04:13] I know it means nothing to them.

[00:04:14] They're just going ahead with their business as they always do.

[00:04:19] And as I was preparing the show today, there was a funeral going on with Jimmy Carter.

[00:04:24] We spoke earlier this week, so I won't dwell on this, about his life.

[00:04:32] People say he was a good and decent man.

[00:04:35] But what I remember is he was a man who compromised his faith.

[00:04:40] He compromised his faith and put politics first.

[00:04:48] Watered down the scriptures to fit the Democrat narrative, the globalist narrative.

[00:04:58] He was not able to share his faith as he should have because of these things.

[00:05:08] He kept it separate from his politics.

[00:05:10] You cannot keep your faith separate from your life.

[00:05:15] Moving on.

[00:05:16] As you heard in my prayer, I'm very concerned about all those who have lost their homes.

[00:05:22] It's devastating.

[00:05:23] It's just devastating.

[00:05:24] We have the same thing going on yet in North Carolina.

[00:05:27] Global warming did not scorch the earth in California, though.

[00:05:30] I want you to know that.

[00:05:32] The policies of the Democrats or Congress, because Republicans are in on it too, with the

[00:05:38] climate change radicals, they subsidize the scorched earth for Americans.

[00:05:44] The L.A.'s mayor, with a deer in the headlight look, refused to answer reporters' questions about

[00:05:50] about her scorched city.

[00:05:52] Not a word.

[00:05:53] Glassy-eyed, arrogant, stared forward, completely ignoring the questions.

[00:06:00] She could have said, hey, I've just landed from a really nice African vacation.

[00:06:05] I've been briefed and I'll make a statement later.

[00:06:08] But no, no, no, no.

[00:06:10] Not a word.

[00:06:11] She didn't even attempt to make eye contact.

[00:06:14] Well, she might be a brave LGBTQ, DEI wonder, but she's not a leader of people.

[00:06:23] She doesn't care a snip about those who she is supposed to govern.

[00:06:28] Remember this.

[00:06:29] Do not be confused or swayed by the rhetoric that's going to be coming out.

[00:06:34] It's climate change, climate change.

[00:06:35] This is a lack of governing, a lack of maintenance.

[00:06:39] And scorched earth, the hundreds of thousands of lost homes, schools, lives, is the product,

[00:06:47] is the result, not of climate change, but of climate change policies.

[00:06:54] The radical environmentalists of the Phony Endangered Species Act, for the fish they call smelt,

[00:07:02] they have smelted California.

[00:07:06] So good luck, Hollywood, the leftist wonders, getting those permits to rebuild,

[00:07:11] because that's going to be a little tough.

[00:07:13] Just when you thought all those left DEI policies wouldn't affect your lives,

[00:07:19] you're about to find out differently.

[00:07:20] I'm not happy about it.

[00:07:21] Don't get me wrong.

[00:07:22] I'm not trying to be, well, maybe I am trying to be a little curt about it.

[00:07:27] But thousands of people, hundreds of thousands of innocent people that didn't vote for those policies,

[00:07:33] don't believe in those policies, are also being, lives have been uprooted and changed.

[00:07:42] It's going to take a long road back for America, for California.

[00:07:47] But for America, we talk about violence.

[00:07:50] We talk about so many things that are going on.

[00:07:52] Our economy.

[00:07:57] We're laughing at some of the things that are being said right now.

[00:08:00] We're waiting for hostages to be released.

[00:08:03] But it's up to us folks to bring America home.

[00:08:06] And I pray it's not too late.

[00:08:08] And I pray that we have the backbone to get her done.

[00:08:11] And speaking of backbone, I just about ran us out of time here in the first segment.

[00:08:15] We are the two today.

[00:08:17] And Melody Cederstrom is with us.

[00:08:19] Melody, how are you doing today?

[00:08:20] I'm doing great.

[00:08:22] Thank you very much.

[00:08:23] Do you have any family in the state of California?

[00:08:26] No, but I have a lot of clients and people I do business with and so forth.

[00:08:33] It's bad.

[00:08:35] I mean, I'm looking at the pictures again this morning.

[00:08:38] It's just, I can't imagine.

[00:08:40] And it was the same like with North Carolina.

[00:08:42] Just complete communities just completely wiped away.

[00:08:47] Nothing left.

[00:08:48] Whether your home went down the river or your home went up in flames.

[00:08:53] There's just nothing left.

[00:08:54] And it's, it's going to be so hard for them to rebuild.

[00:08:59] To start over.

[00:09:03] But we got to make it happen.

[00:09:05] We got to make it happen.

[00:09:06] We got to say prayers for them.

[00:09:09] You're listening to CSE Talk Radio.

[00:09:10] This is Beth Ann with Melody Cederstrom of Discount Gold and Silver Trading.

[00:09:15] We'll try and change up the topic a little bit.

[00:09:17] Get a little happier.

[00:09:18] Maybe.

[00:09:18] I don't know.

[00:09:19] There's a lot of things to be happy about.

[00:09:20] Some things that we just need to, we need to stay on top of.

[00:09:24] You're listening to CSE Talk Radio.

[00:09:26] We'll be right back.

[00:10:00] The American Crisis continues.

[00:10:02] The reviews are in.

[00:10:04] This is a book worth reading.

[00:10:06] A book that lays out both the fundamental issues and offers a solution.

[00:10:10] The American Crisis Continues informed me about the battle between good and evil.

[00:10:15] It inspired me to get involved in the author's quest to bring America home to God, family, and country.

[00:10:22] At a time in history when America is being attacked from within by those who have a secular socialist view of America,

[00:10:29] this book quenched my thirst for a perspective of the America I know and love.

[00:10:34] Learn about America's founding principles.

[00:10:36] How do the grievances in 1776 compare to us today?

[00:10:41] Knowledge is the key defense against the vicious enemy, tyranny.

[00:10:45] The American Crisis continues.

[00:10:48] Order your copy today, available on Amazon, e-book, paper, or hardback.

[00:10:52] Printed copies available at csetalkradio.com or call 573-796-2166.

[00:11:02] Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives.

[00:11:05] Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building.

[00:11:10] Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble, which are perishable?

[00:11:14] Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent?

[00:11:18] In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system.

[00:11:22] When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn?

[00:11:26] Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets?

[00:11:31] Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government, but gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth.

[00:11:38] Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy, fiat dollars and debt.

[00:11:44] Call Melody Sederstrom at Discount Gold and Silver Trading, 1-800-375-4188.

[00:11:49] That's 1-800-375-4188.

[00:11:52] Give your wealth a solid foundation with gold and silver.

[00:12:02] Did you hear that?

[00:12:03] That's the sound of energy, and America has plenty.

[00:12:07] Power the Future is dedicated to those who power the future for all Americans.

[00:12:11] It is their hard work, sweat, and determination that keeps the lights on in all American homes.

[00:12:16] Their livelihoods are under attack by radical environmental groups.

[00:12:20] Power the Future is advocating for their jobs and American energy.

[00:12:23] Daniel Turner is the founder and executive director of Power the Future.

[00:12:27] Daniel is an expert in energy and environmental issues as they pertain to jobs, rural communities, the U.S. economy, international affairs, and our national security.

[00:12:36] If the radical environmentalists have their way, our natural resources will be less available and less affordable.

[00:12:43] Power the Future is a sponsor of CSE Talk Radio.

[00:12:46] We advocate for America's energy independence and national security.

[00:12:50] Visit PowerTheFuture.com and let's work together to keep the lights on and bring America home.

[00:13:04] And we have returned to listening to CSE Talk Radio.

[00:13:07] This is Beth Ann with Melody Cedarstrom.

[00:13:09] Melody, we rushed through the first segment.

[00:13:11] How are you doing?

[00:13:12] I'm doing great, thanks.

[00:13:14] Thank you.

[00:13:14] We are real concerned about what's taking place there in the state of California.

[00:13:19] I'm certain you've watched a lot of that as well.

[00:13:22] You know, Mindy is from there, and she has family there.

[00:13:26] I need to get in touch with her today and see what part of the California they live in and if they're okay.

[00:13:32] She has a brother that's fighting cancer.

[00:13:36] And there's just so much going on.

[00:13:38] And yesterday, Melody, you know, government, it's so sweet to us, isn't it?

[00:13:44] But it's Buncombe, I guess, County in North Carolina.

[00:13:49] Did you read this?

[00:13:51] So there's going to be no permit.

[00:13:55] The North Carolina law regarding their property taxes says there's no permit property tax waivers or exceptions for natural disasters, including the Hurricane Helene.

[00:14:12] So they're expecting these poor people that have got nothing.

[00:14:16] Good grief, their cities are gone.

[00:14:18] Their banks are gone.

[00:14:19] They've got nothing.

[00:14:20] And they've got to fork over their property tax somehow, some way, which is probably more than the $750 that Kamala and Biden wanted to give them.

[00:14:28] Well, you think that they should be able to at least appeal to what they're being charged because there's no housing on it and so forth.

[00:14:36] It should lower the value quite a bit.

[00:14:38] They said they're going to adjust.

[00:14:40] I mean, it should at least be waived and, you know, at least for, you know, until construction or whatever.

[00:14:47] But, you know.

[00:14:48] It says here they're waived.

[00:14:49] It said in the article that they're going to waive it next year.

[00:14:53] But this year they have to pay what the worth was.

[00:14:55] It was needed.

[00:14:56] I know.

[00:14:57] I know.

[00:14:58] I'm with you.

[00:14:58] But I'm just telling you what they said.

[00:15:00] You know, at least prorate it from January to, you know, from when the storm happened or something, you know.

[00:15:06] Yeah.

[00:15:07] I mean, it's like, but you know what?

[00:15:09] You know, I'm thinking and I'm sitting here and I was reading some things.

[00:15:13] These are all signs.

[00:15:15] These are all signs.

[00:15:16] And I'm going to come back to it financially.

[00:15:18] Yes.

[00:15:18] The infrastructure, yes, it is leadership and, you know, but we got the leadership because this country is so deep in debt.

[00:15:28] We have a country.

[00:15:30] We have no leadership.

[00:15:32] We have, you know, it comes not just from the president's office, but it comes from Congress.

[00:15:41] It comes from the Senate.

[00:15:42] I mean, these are all symptoms of a country that truly is, there would be better leadership if there was morality more in this country.

[00:16:03] When you talked about that mayor, I mean, she, they knew these winds were coming.

[00:16:09] Now, you don't know the fires were coming, but you knew the winds were coming.

[00:16:17] And there was a state of emergency before she even left.

[00:16:23] And again, who are these people?

[00:16:28] And then when she's, I just watched her press conference for just a little bit because it disgusted me.

[00:16:33] So it was yesterday.

[00:16:35] Okay.

[00:16:36] And she started to, the first thing she started out with was trying to explain her absence.

[00:16:41] Lady, I really don't care about what your excuse is for your absence.

[00:16:46] What are you doing?

[00:16:52] You're sitting.

[00:16:54] But nothing.

[00:16:55] It was all excuses.

[00:16:56] The firemen are doing a great job.

[00:16:58] And, you know, it's all, it's all the accolades to all the management and so forth.

[00:17:02] Fine.

[00:17:02] Let the accolades come later.

[00:17:04] But what are you going to do now?

[00:17:05] And I'll tell you what, that's what I liked about DeSantis and Florida when those were coming through.

[00:17:12] He didn't give accolades.

[00:17:13] This is what we're going to do.

[00:17:15] This is what we have done.

[00:17:16] This is what we're trying to do.

[00:17:18] Yes, I agree.

[00:17:19] And that is leadership.

[00:17:21] I agree.

[00:17:23] And the infrastructure of this nation, and I agree with you, it is all of this global warming policies and so forth, the environmentalists and so forth.

[00:17:32] But it's also a sign of our infrastructure, how much it has decayed.

[00:17:39] Well, and, you know, when we have these disasters, whether it's the hurricane or this fire, we've built on all this, on this land where it is very vulnerable.

[00:17:53] So there is going to be more damage.

[00:17:56] There is going to be more devastation.

[00:18:00] And I'm not saying we shouldn't build there, but I'm saying we've got to expect it.

[00:18:04] She knew that this was coming.

[00:18:05] There was a fire warning.

[00:18:07] They said if it hits, we're in trouble.

[00:18:08] And look what it has taken out.

[00:18:11] But then they have the water problem.

[00:18:13] And I got this, and I haven't really read it much because I just got it before I went on the air.

[00:18:17] And it says the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power officials raked in an enormous taxpayer-funded paychecks before its fire hydrants ran dry in the fight against massive fires in the area.

[00:18:33] Eight of the top ten highest-paid city officials in Los Angeles work for the LADWP.

[00:18:41] They put it in acronyms here.

[00:18:43] According to Open the Books analysis, they've made huge.

[00:18:46] I mean, we're talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars these guys get paid, and they didn't do their job.

[00:18:53] I don't know how much that mayor gets paid, but she didn't do her job.

[00:18:59] And, you know, when we talk about the government, it's the local.

[00:19:02] That's the local government there in that county in North Carolina that's, you know, I don't know where their homes are, but apparently they're doing okay.

[00:19:10] And they're going to demand this for these poor people.

[00:19:13] They can't even find their paychecks, probably.

[00:19:15] I mean, they're check stubs or they're checkbooks.

[00:19:19] It's just unbelievable.

[00:19:24] And then I have just article after article, Melody, where these people in Congress, these people in these local, they're greedy.

[00:19:33] They don't take their jobs seriously.

[00:19:36] They take their money seriously.

[00:19:37] And I had this article yesterday, so I won't go through it all again.

[00:19:40] You might have seen it.

[00:19:41] It's talking about Nancy Pelosi's portfolio, how much it increased.

[00:19:46] But yet she wasn't the top dog this time.

[00:19:48] Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

[00:19:50] And it wasn't all Democrats either.

[00:19:52] Republican Representative David Rauser from North Carolina.

[00:19:56] There was, I mean, just one after the other.

[00:19:59] And they, Susan Collins was one.

[00:20:02] They increased their net worth tremendously.

[00:20:05] We're not talking about a little bit.

[00:20:06] We're talking about a lot.

[00:20:09] And then people can't make ends meet.

[00:20:13] The sad thing is, it's been going on for a long time.

[00:20:15] Oh, yeah.

[00:20:16] It didn't just happen.

[00:20:17] You know, I mean, it was always a joke.

[00:20:20] Oh, yeah, they go in there.

[00:20:21] They go in poor, come out wealthy.

[00:20:23] It's not funny anymore.

[00:20:24] All of this inside trading and all the slush funds they have.

[00:20:27] You know, does it take this type of a disaster to bring this to the forefront?

[00:20:35] So it's brought to the forefront, but what's going to happen?

[00:20:39] I mean, I lived in Arizona, and every year, you know, every time there was a forest fire or whatever,

[00:20:44] it was always about, oh, well, you've got to clean the forest, the ground, and all that.

[00:20:49] That's been going on for 30, 40 years.

[00:20:52] Yeah, they're not doing it.

[00:20:54] They're not cleaning it.

[00:20:56] No.

[00:20:57] That's the problem.

[00:20:58] You know, I mean, there are some degree of what you can do for controlled burns.

[00:21:05] I mean, sometimes the controlled burns can, you know, they used to do a lot of them in Southern California over those lands.

[00:21:13] But then they quit doing it.

[00:21:14] And so forth when the San Andreas would come through and whatnot.

[00:21:18] But, you know, I don't know if they, you know, what the degree of controlled burns are anymore.

[00:21:23] Well, then we can look at, we don't know what caused this,

[00:21:26] but they said a lot of these fires do get caused by the homeless trying to stay warm, and they light fires.

[00:21:32] And that's another issue.

[00:21:33] Go ahead.

[00:21:34] What started the fires?

[00:21:35] They don't know yet, or they're not saying yet.

[00:21:38] Yeah.

[00:21:38] But that is the one that keeps coming up is the homeless.

[00:21:42] And then I wonder how many of them died in it that we'll never know about.

[00:21:47] That's very true.

[00:21:49] You know, it's all bad policies all the way around.

[00:21:52] We shouldn't have that many homeless.

[00:21:55] Absolutely not.

[00:21:56] We pay how much money out for these bureaucrats to take care of the land.

[00:22:00] I mean, it's in government hands because they need to preserve it.

[00:22:04] Well, they've done a pretty bad job of preserving it.

[00:22:07] And now people have lost their lives, their homes, everything.

[00:22:12] And, you know, I kind of made fun of Hollywood in my monologue.

[00:22:16] But it's not just them.

[00:22:17] Everybody.

[00:22:18] I mean, everybody's lost things.

[00:22:21] They've lost – I've never – I've only been through California.

[00:22:26] I've never been to California.

[00:22:28] And it's –

[00:22:29] Well, it's going to be interesting to see how the economy – because when you look at California, it was what?

[00:22:35] The third largest economy on the planet?

[00:22:40] Yeah.

[00:22:40] I mean, it's right up there.

[00:22:42] And you're talking L.A.

[00:22:43] We haven't heard anything about the flights, where the flights canceled going into.

[00:22:48] L.A.X.?

[00:22:48] They had to have been.

[00:22:50] You'd think.

[00:22:51] They had to have been.

[00:22:52] They couldn't get helicopters up to drop the bags of water.

[00:22:55] Of course, they couldn't get the bags of water anyway.

[00:22:57] I mean, there's no way they could fight that.

[00:22:59] So, you know, the thing of it is – so we're not really hearing about the true economic loss.

[00:23:05] Not yet.

[00:23:06] Not yet.

[00:23:07] Not just to California, but to the rest of the country.

[00:23:09] Everywhere.

[00:23:09] Yeah, because it affects us all.

[00:23:11] All of us.

[00:23:11] Even North Carolina.

[00:23:12] All of us.

[00:23:12] North Carolina lost a – which I kind of laughed about, but, you know, I've got family that's going through some things, and they have to have the saline treatments.

[00:23:23] And there's a shortage on saline because of what happened in North Carolina.

[00:23:27] I'm kind of looking.

[00:23:27] We can make saline in the kitchen.

[00:23:31] But it's just devastating everywhere.

[00:23:33] And I want to talk about – I want to talk about how these government officials – just one more time – how they make money when we come back.

[00:23:41] Because we're all looking forward to RFK, and Congress is against him.

[00:23:46] We'll be right back.

[00:24:26] We'll be right back.

[00:24:42] We'll be right back.

[00:25:24] We'll be right back.

[00:25:45] We'll be right back.

[00:26:17] We'll be right back.

[00:26:20] We'll be right back.

[00:27:02] We'll be right back.

[00:27:31] We'll be right back.

[00:27:34] We'll be right back.

[00:28:13] We'll be right back.

[00:28:16] We'll be right back.

[00:28:23] We'll be right back.

[00:28:31] We'll be right back.

[00:28:40] We'll be right back.

[00:28:48] We'll be right back.

[00:28:56] We'll be right back.

[00:29:13] We'll be right back.

[00:29:20] We'll be right back.

[00:29:26] We'll be right back.

[00:29:32] We'll be right back.

[00:29:37] We'll be right back.

[00:29:39] We'll be right back.

[00:30:02] We'll be right back.

[00:30:10] We'll be right back.

[00:30:17] We'll be right back.

[00:30:22] We'll be right back.

[00:30:58] We'll be right back.

[00:30:59] out, I believe, especially in the presidency, they're appointed. The way the media adjusts

[00:31:17] things to push in any one certain direction. You don't hear anybody talking, you hear about

[00:31:27] big pharma and everything, but you don't hear any concerns about the billionaire.

[00:31:33] The country is no longer run by Congress, the Senate, or the President. It is run by multinational

[00:31:44] corporations. And I think we're just really seeing it right now. Now, do they have a, do

[00:31:51] they have a, certainly this does not, California's fire does not, isn't going to help them. They

[00:32:04] might want to see this nation perform better and be better for their personal interests

[00:32:09] and so forth. I don't know. I mean, I'm, it's so crazy. Because again, so much of it just

[00:32:19] seems so insane. I mean, the fires in California, we never, things like this didn't happen to

[00:32:29] us. Of course you had Chicago burned down.

[00:32:34] Yeah. That's been a while.

[00:32:36] It's been a while. So I don't know.

[00:32:40] Well, San Francisco burned one time, didn't it? That was a long time ago. That once, or

[00:32:44] maybe I'm thinking of Chicago when they kicked, when the mule kicked, blamed it on a mule or

[00:32:49] something.

[00:32:50] Yeah. But I mean, I don't know. I don't know. I stick to my fundamentals and my basics.

[00:32:58] We're in debt. We've got debt too great to be paid. Our infrastructures in this country,

[00:33:04] everything that we're seeing, the decline, the housing, look at these houses that are being

[00:33:09] built. Yeah, they're being built, you know, to a day, but look at the quality.

[00:33:15] Yeah. Yeah.

[00:33:16] You know, you can huff and puff and blow one down, you know, unless you're a mulch. So I've

[00:33:26] been talking about, there hasn't been any affordable housing in this country for 20, 30

[00:33:33] years. I've been talking about it for that long.

[00:33:38] When you were saying we're not, we're not being run the way we're supposed to. We both

[00:33:43] know that. And corporations are having way too much influence on Congress and on our

[00:33:49] Too much money from the government, from the taxpayers.

[00:33:51] Absolutely. So this, I did share this yesterday on air, and this is just proof. And it's like,

[00:33:59] okay, I get this, but this shouldn't be necessary. Senator Mike Lee has, is putting out a new bill

[00:34:09] or an act. It's called the RAINS Act. And it's to, the act would require that any major rule

[00:34:17] proposed by executive agencies, the bureaucrats, those costing over $100 million annually, would

[00:34:23] have to be approved by Congress. In other words, they're talking about how the bureaucrats are making

[00:34:27] the laws instead of our lawmakers making the laws. In fact, I think we could just take a few

[00:34:32] laws off the books. But it's like, why do you need this? Because constitutionally, the

[00:34:38] bureaucrats can't make the laws. They're only getting away with it because they're letting

[00:34:43] them get away with it. So he acts like he's doing something great and mass. He's right

[00:34:47] with him.

[00:34:49] And I'm thinking, why even $100 million? Why don't we start with $5? Just $5? $2?

[00:34:56] Why don't we start with $0?

[00:34:58] There you go.

[00:34:59] And you know what the funny thing about it is? Now Elon Musk comes out and says, I know the

[00:35:05] proper way they say it, but I call it the dogey.

[00:35:09] You can't do $2 trillion cuts. It might only be a trillion. Hello, buddy. I've been saying

[00:35:16] that since you came out. It's not even going to be a trillion dollars.

[00:35:20] He's listening to you, Melody.

[00:35:22] Yeah, I'm sure they are.

[00:35:25] I swear they are. I swear they listen to us. I'll tell you what, when I listen to the news

[00:35:30] and maybe we're just not as original as I think we are, they'll say something that you and

[00:35:35] I said, Mindy, or I said in the afternoon, I mean in the morning here and next thing

[00:35:40] you know by evening, somebody has said something and if Rudy and I are watching the same news,

[00:35:44] he'll text me. Did you hear that?

[00:35:47] I think that too. I think that. I was like, oh, I said that earlier today.

[00:35:52] I'm so good. Pat myself on the back.

[00:35:58] I'm sure they do.

[00:36:04] They have lots of people.

[00:36:25] They do.

[00:36:26] And if I was Vivek, and I don't think they can control that, but if it was me, Vivek and

[00:36:33] Musk, I would tell Congress, all these congressmen, senators and representatives, you can have

[00:36:39] two staffers. That's it. You don't need any more than two. Somebody else is writing these

[00:36:48] laws. Somebody else is writing these bills. Our Congress people, all they're doing is

[00:36:52] they get in there and they get their insider trading and they get rich and they, and they,

[00:36:58] the minute they're elected, they start campaigning for the next one.

[00:37:01] They're not going to cut our debt. They can't.

[00:37:03] No.

[00:37:03] Let's pay off all the people in D.C. Okay, how's that going to help the economy?

[00:37:07] Well, we wouldn't have to pay them.

[00:37:09] They're going to do it. They can't.

[00:37:10] We don't have to pay them, Melody. That's a whole lot of money.

[00:37:14] Well, let's talk about that because we have, we have gone on and on. Let's, let's talk about

[00:37:19] that when we come back. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann with Melody

[00:37:23] Sederstrom. We are the two. We're a lot more friendly than those other gals and we'll be

[00:37:28] right back.

[00:39:02] Hear ye, hear ye. Read all about it. The American crisis continues. In her new book, The American

[00:39:09] Crisis Continues, Beth Ann elaborates on the crises America faces today. Invasion at the border,

[00:39:16] insurrections, lawlessness, climate change, and the cry for democracy. These are the times that try

[00:39:22] men's souls. Thomas Paine's words continue to speak to Americans today. We the people once again find

[00:39:29] ourselves under tyranny. In The American Crisis Continues, you'll glean wisdom from our founding

[00:39:35] fathers and an understanding why belief in creator God is the foundation of this nation. Liberty is

[00:39:42] always in the hands of the people, but first it must be a longing and a lust within their hearts.

[00:39:48] The American crisis continues is a must read. Order your copy today at csctalkradio.com or amazon.com.

[00:42:04] And we have returned to listening to the CESC Talk Radio. This is Bethann with Melody Sederstrom

[00:42:08] of Discount Gold and Silver Trading. We're going to calm it down. We've talked about a little bit

[00:42:12] of everything, but it all comes down to the economy. It all comes down to this debt,

[00:42:19] and it all comes down to, you know, they're getting rich and they're collapsing this country.

[00:42:26] The decisions and the policies they make, whether we're talking about climate change or

[00:42:30] whatever else it could be, they're just destroying this nation. But it's the economic destruction

[00:42:38] of this country that's going to be devastating.

[00:42:42] And anyway, we were talking a little bit about that when we went into the break. So I want to continue

[00:42:49] with that and talk about gold and silver and talk about how we can secure what we do have.

[00:42:54] Go ahead, Melody.

[00:42:56] Yeah, I mean, regardless, you know, we all look for a positive outcome. We all do. And, you know,

[00:43:04] we do hope that things can become better. I'm not quite sure when we say anymore to become better

[00:43:11] what that really means. Better in how, better in what way, better in, you know, where has this

[00:43:17] nation, our country, where has it been and where are we going? I think we are going into a brand new

[00:43:26] world. I do believe we're still heading down that path of a new world order, you know, one monetary

[00:43:33] policy, etc., etc., etc., etc. I don't know how it changes. I don't see any difference. Sure, we're

[00:43:44] getting our borders and, you know, some of those things will be addressed and whatnot. But this

[00:43:50] country still has debt too great to be paid. And the taxpayers are going to continue to pay

[00:43:58] out the nose. Our taxes are going to grow. They're not going to go away. They're going to get bigger

[00:44:04] and bigger. And so it's going to be harder and harder for your dollars that you make to purchase

[00:44:14] the same thing today. We know what inflation is today. What do you think it's going to be a couple

[00:44:20] years from now? I mean, that's where we have to start thinking. How are you going to protect

[00:44:27] yourself a couple years from now? I believe we're going to have, you know, in 2016, Beth,

[00:44:35] you say this, you tell your listeners when I'm on your program all the time that I said

[00:44:39] there's going to be chaos. Maybe you haven't seen anything yet. No. You know, and it's not

[00:44:45] going to be good chaos. You'll find out what people really are. That's for sure.

[00:44:52] Absolutely. Absolutely. I agree with you. And the horror from California, is that the first,

[00:45:05] I mean, I hate to call it a domino, but I think the, and no one is talking, the impact that this

[00:45:16] is going to have. Someone that follows us here on Facebook just said, just think about lumber.

[00:45:22] Lumber's going to go back. We're going to go higher yet.

[00:45:25] And look where we get all our, look where we get a lot of our building lumber from Canada.

[00:45:30] Yeah. Hey, let's get some tariffs on Canada. Let's make that even more expensive. We did that

[00:45:36] during COVID. You know, we saw where the prices because of the shortages and so forth. So yeah,

[00:45:44] it's, it's going to be a very difficult. And so you can only protect yourself, protect your savings,

[00:45:52] protect your retirement accounts, protect your, you know, social security, protect what you can,

[00:45:58] your savings. And to me, and I've been saying this for a long time, because I do believe it,

[00:46:04] gold is really the safest way to protect your purchasing power at this point in time. And

[00:46:11] it always has, because it's real. It's never going to go to zero. And it has protected your purchasing

[00:46:18] power over the years. Sure. You can't complain that dollar to dollar with, you know, with,

[00:46:23] with wall street and so forth, but let's go back a hundred years. And again, those gold pieces buy

[00:46:31] you the same thing today as it did a hundred years ago, the old $20 gold pieces. You could buy a $20

[00:46:38] suit with a gold piece. You can do that today. So it has protected the purchasing power and they're

[00:46:46] going to have to print so much more money for California. Um, there's no inflation adjustments

[00:46:55] to the lower side coming our way. Wow. We've, you know, sure there was, um, you have the Saudis

[00:47:02] that committed $80 billion to build more data storage facilities. Nobody's talking about that.

[00:47:09] That that's going to put more, more strain on our already poor infrastructure, electric

[00:47:19] interest. I mean, we've got a lot of things coming our way. So protect yourself. That's all we can do

[00:47:26] is protect yourself. I want to give that number. It's beyond our control. 800-375-4188.

[00:47:33] That's 1-800-375-4188. And visit our website, dgscoins.com. That's dgscoins.com. Um, gold and

[00:47:44] silver, that's the way to protect what you've got. And, and, uh, you, you usually say 80, 20. Is that

[00:47:51] what you usually say? Yeah. As long as silver holds this level, it's now approaching $31 right now.

[00:47:57] Silver, uh, silver's 31. Gold is, uh, 2690. So it's approaching that 2700 level. I think these are the lows.

[00:48:06] They certainly could have been tested along the way and they found their, their resistance

[00:48:12] level. And I think these are the lows that we're going to see. You know, there's, um,

[00:48:18] there's more and more talk. China's again, buying up more gold and so forth. They know where it's at.

[00:48:22] They're no dummies. No, they're not.

[00:48:26] They may be evil, but they're not dumb. No, no, they're not. They might be communists,

[00:48:31] but they're not dumb. So. They know how to go get stuff. That's for sure. Yeah, they do.

[00:48:38] And, uh, so 1-800-375-4188. Uh, give us a call. Just give her a call and have a little chit

[00:48:45] chat. She'll chit chat with you very, just like she does here. So that's 1-800-375-4188. Dgscoins.com.

[00:48:54] She also has a newsletter there that, uh, is very informative. Um, you can read that

[00:48:59] and, uh, watch her, or watch her, listen to her other shows. Uh, dgscoins.com.

[00:49:06] Thank you.

[00:49:07] Did you have a good New Year's?

[00:49:08] I did.

[00:49:10] Good.

[00:49:10] I think 2025 is going to be a good year.

[00:49:14] It's going to be an interesting year, but a good year.

[00:49:16] It's going to, I think you're right. I think, well, I'm a little concerned.

[00:49:20] It's starting out pretty bad, but.

[00:49:21] Let's get through January.

[00:49:23] Let's get through January.

[00:49:25] Because I'm a little concerned about what's going to build up. The Democrats are too quiet.

[00:49:29] I'm a little concerned about what they're working on and what they're building up,

[00:49:32] and I'm afraid there's going to be another attack, another attack, and more attacks.

[00:49:36] So let's get through January and see what happens.

[00:49:39] See what happens. I agree.

[00:49:40] I think it can be a very good year, and, um, I agree with you 100% on that.

[00:49:45] And, uh, it's nice to end on a positive like that,

[00:49:47] because we know there's been a lot so far that's not been good,

[00:49:51] but we're going to look up.

[00:49:52] Sometimes you've got to get it in the bottom before you can look up.

[00:49:55] Absolutely.

[00:49:55] Melody, thank you for all that you do.

[00:49:57] Appreciate it so much.

[00:49:58] And, uh, let's have a happy 2025.

[00:50:03] You've been listening to CSC Talk Radio.

[00:50:05] Beth Ann with Melody Cederstrom.

[00:50:07] She's a sponsor of the show with, uh, discount gold and silver trading.

[00:50:11] Give her a call.

[00:50:13] Support her.

[00:50:14] Support the show.

[00:50:14] And best of all, most of all, protect yourself.

[00:50:19] Protect yourself and be prepared.

[00:51:06] She brings her unique perspective, drawing from her many life experiences and her love for God and country.

[00:51:12] As a young girl, her family moved from the big city to a small rural community where she would grow up, marry her husband, and together raise five sons.

[00:51:26] As the D.C. occupiers continue to drive our society into socialism and anarchy, the message to bring America home grows more crucial by the day.

[00:51:46] Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty?

[00:51:50] Do we weep for liberty which we have lost?

[00:51:52] Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged?

[00:51:58] Liberty.

[00:51:59] Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior, or political views.

[00:52:09] Today we seem to want restrictions.

[00:52:11] Government micromanaging our lives?

[00:52:14] But do we realize the cost?

[00:52:17] Alexander Hamilton once stated,

[00:52:19] There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism.

[00:52:26] As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others.

[00:52:30] We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free.

[00:52:35] Visit csctalkradio.com, where Beth Ann puts enthusiasm and common sense back into American liberty

[00:52:41] as she brings America home.
