3542 – December 24, 2024 – Christmas Wishes – A Christmas Eve Morning Prayer from Christianity.com:
Dear Heavenly Father, As the dawn of Christmas Eve breaks, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation. We thank You for the precious gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate.
On this special morning, we ask for Your presence to be with us throughout the day. Help us to keep our hearts open to Your love and our minds centered on the true meaning of Christmas. Let the joy and hope of this season fill our souls as we prepare to commemorate the birth of our Savior.
Lord, bless our families and loved ones with Your peace and unity. May our gatherings be filled with laughter, warmth, and the sharing of Your love.
Guide us in our interactions with others today, that we may be instruments of Your grace and kindness in the lives of those we meet.
Protect our nation… and our leaders – I pray for Your hedge of protection around President Donald J. Trump – and his family and others who are assisting him… as he prepares to lead this nation.
Lord, as we approach this holy night, grant us the serenity to reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth and the hope it brings to the world. May our hearts be a manger where Your love is born anew.
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS… In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
Christmas Wishes, there are always plenty. The young and the old, we all make those wishes. Some wishes are shiny-shimmering-sparkles, some wishes are productive and more commonsensical. Others are simply just to enjoy a game, a puzzle are a toy… so many wishes we all do employ.
As you and I know that greatest gift as already been given… all you must do is receive!
Christmas is not about the wishes, although we have many. It’s not about the baby in a manger for that is only the beginning. The gift for which we celebrate is wrapped in love… make no mistake. For God He did send His Son – to die an a cross, as a sacrifice, for the sins we have made during our lives. BUT the love did not end there… NO, it goes on… for the son on the cross… YES, he lives on. Eternal life is the gift of salvation. We celebrate one day (as a body of believers) BUT it is a gift that is every day…We are the receivers.
From the cradle to the cross … from the cross on to heaven……. Eternal salvation!! THE GIFT HAS BEEN GIVEN!

[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going?
[00:00:03] I gotta get home.
[00:00:04] America, it's time to come home.
[00:00:08] It's time to come home!
[00:00:09] By bringing common sense back into the nonsense.
[00:00:13] Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home.
[00:00:21] Down this dirt road, you're going to find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment.
[00:00:28] And now, the woman that wishes the D.C. occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice.
[00:00:34] Do not make me come down there.
[00:00:35] Here's your host, and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann.
[00:00:42] And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio.
[00:00:45] It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today.
[00:00:48] As you know, it's a mission, and it's a ministry, I guess, so to speak.
[00:00:53] Other people tell me, I never thought of it that way, but I've been told that it is.
[00:00:57] We're going to go to the Lord in prayer.
[00:00:59] It is a special day.
[00:01:00] It's a special day for all those children that are all excited out there because it's Christmas Eve.
[00:01:05] And so I found a special prayer.
[00:01:07] I got this from Christianity.com.
[00:01:09] I made a few changes on it or additions to it, but it's a Christmas Eve prayer.
[00:01:15] Dear Heavenly Father, as the dawn of Christmas Eve breaks, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation.
[00:01:24] We thank you for the precious gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate.
[00:01:31] On this special morning, we ask for your presence to be with us throughout the day.
[00:01:36] Help us to keep our hearts open to your love and our minds centered on the true meaning of Christmas.
[00:01:43] Let the joy of hope of this season fill our souls as we prepare to commemorate the birth of our Savior.
[00:01:52] Lord, bless our families and loved ones with your peace and unity.
[00:02:00] May our gatherings be filled with laughter, warmth, and the sharing of your love.
[00:02:05] Guide us in our interactions with others today that we may be instruments of your grace and kindness in the lives of those we meet, showing kindness and love.
[00:02:19] Protect our nation, our leaders.
[00:02:44] May our hearts be a manger where your love is born anew.
[00:02:51] For such a time as this.
[00:02:54] In Jesus' name we pray.
[00:02:56] Amen.
[00:02:58] So I've titled today's show Christmas Wishes, and I actually have Christmas Wishes that I got.
[00:03:06] Daniel should be joining us in the second segment.
[00:03:10] And so I thought, well, we'll just go with that.
[00:03:14] Christmas Wishes.
[00:03:16] And so I was writing, and this is what fell out.
[00:03:19] Sometimes it just happens.
[00:03:21] It's rough.
[00:03:22] Of Christmas wishes there are always plenty.
[00:03:25] The children and adults have many.
[00:03:28] In America we anxiously await the old gentleman we call Saint Nick.
[00:03:33] The young and the old, we all make those wishes.
[00:03:37] Some wishes are shiny, simmering sparkles, and some wishes are productive and more commonsensical.
[00:03:44] Others are simply just to enjoy a game, a puzzle, or a toy.
[00:03:50] So many wishes we all do employ.
[00:03:55] As you and I know, that greatest gift has already been given.
[00:04:00] All you must do is receive and keep giving.
[00:04:04] Christmas is not about the wishes, although we have many.
[00:04:07] It's not about the baby in a manger, for that is only the beginning.
[00:04:12] The gift for which we celebrate is wrapped in love.
[00:04:16] Make no mistake.
[00:04:18] For God, he did send his son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for the sins we have made during our lives.
[00:04:27] But the love did not end there.
[00:04:29] No, it's gone on.
[00:04:31] For the son on the cross, yes, he lives on.
[00:04:36] Eternal life is the gift of salvation.
[00:04:39] We celebrate one day as a body of believers, but it is a gift that is every day.
[00:04:45] We are the receivers.
[00:04:48] From the cradle to the cross.
[00:04:50] From the cross on to heaven.
[00:04:53] Eternal salvation.
[00:04:55] The gift has been given.
[00:04:58] What Christmas wishes do you have?
[00:05:01] What Christmas traditions do you practice?
[00:05:06] Maybe some don't practice a whole lot, but I think you just end up with those throughout the years, whether you want them or not.
[00:05:15] I have my second son on my mind.
[00:05:18] He's a tall, strong, handsome guy.
[00:05:23] Of course, I think they all are.
[00:05:25] He's not the tallest.
[00:05:26] The youngest is the tallest.
[00:05:28] But he wanted to be a cowboy when he was a little boy.
[00:05:34] And we still lived on the farm back then.
[00:05:39] And he would get into his daddy's boots and clunk around in them.
[00:05:47] It was really funny to see because the boots came up to his crotch because he was still a wee one at that time.
[00:05:55] But he told me one day, he said, Mom, I want to be a cowboy when I grow up and move out west.
[00:06:03] And then he looked at me.
[00:06:05] Where's out west?
[00:06:08] The innocence of a child.
[00:06:11] And, of course, my mother used to tell us we had to clean our rooms and clean the house and everything before Christmas
[00:06:18] because I guess Santa wasn't going to come if the house hadn't been vacuumed and cleaned.
[00:06:23] And I was trying to encourage my young'uns to clean their rooms and pick up their toys.
[00:06:31] They were really small, really small.
[00:06:33] And I was working in the kitchen as I usually am.
[00:06:37] Now, I don't know how many of you remember this, but there is a little clip, a little top, a little plastic top.
[00:06:44] When you opened a new bottle of, like, cooking oil and when you popped it open, it's plastic, but it had a little point on it.
[00:06:51] And a little ring like it could be around.
[00:06:54] I told my second son that the elves were watching him.
[00:07:00] And I said, Look, he lost his hat.
[00:07:01] I had it thrown on the floor.
[00:07:03] He lost his hat.
[00:07:04] And that little one got busy picking up his toys right away.
[00:07:10] Well, it's not a tradition to throw an oil top on the floor, but maybe that was mean.
[00:07:18] I don't know.
[00:07:19] But he picked up his toys.
[00:07:20] And I think he kind of remembers that.
[00:07:23] He's only about three years old or so.
[00:07:26] But the children have the excitement on Christmas Eve is just out the sky.
[00:07:34] I mean, it is just they are so excited waiting for St. Nicholas to come, waiting for Santa Claus.
[00:07:41] And my children were no different.
[00:07:45] And I thought about the phrase in Twas the Night Before Christmas where they were all snug in their beds.
[00:07:52] You know how hard it was to get them snug in their beds on Christmas Eve?
[00:07:55] They just didn't want to go.
[00:07:57] And really, especially when they were all little and home and I was still home, not working outside the home just yet,
[00:08:07] you know, wrapping their gifts and hiding them was something that was hard to do.
[00:08:15] So we would be up as soon as we got them to bed and knew they were going to stay there.
[00:08:20] We would be up till wee hours of the morning wrapping presents.
[00:08:24] We had, you know, five children.
[00:08:26] So it took a lot of wrapping.
[00:08:28] And I was telling Rudy, one year we got kind of ingenious because, you know, the children will get up really early in the morning.
[00:08:36] And they will get into the packages.
[00:08:40] They're not supposed to open them until mom and dad get up.
[00:08:43] And they're not supposed to go into the Christmas room.
[00:08:46] We're going to call it that.
[00:08:47] It's a living room until mom got up or dad and turned on the Christmas tree lights.
[00:08:53] But they would sneak.
[00:08:54] You probably did that when you were a kid, too.
[00:08:57] Didn't you?
[00:08:57] Sneak down the stairs or down the hallway.
[00:09:01] And they would peek.
[00:09:03] So one year we wrapped each one.
[00:09:05] We had five different wrapping papers.
[00:09:07] And we wrapped each one in a different wrapping paper.
[00:09:10] And we did not put their names on them.
[00:09:12] So they had no clue whose gift was whose.
[00:09:17] And, but then whatever gift was in their stocking and whatever tag was that wrapping paper,
[00:09:24] that was their clue as to which presents belonged to them.
[00:09:29] But you know, it's not about the gifts under the tree.
[00:09:33] And we know that that's not even necessarily the date that our Lord was born.
[00:09:38] But it's about understanding.
[00:09:42] And isn't it wonderful that as a world we celebrate one day of our Savior concentrated.
[00:09:51] But it should be something every day.
[00:09:54] You're listening to CSU Talk Radio.
[00:09:56] We'll be right back.
[00:09:57] The American Crisis Continues.
[00:10:01] The reviews are in.
[00:10:02] This is a book worth reading.
[00:10:05] A book that lays out both the fundamental issues and offers a solution.
[00:10:09] The American Crisis Continues informed me about the battle between good and evil.
[00:10:13] It inspired me to get involved in the author's quest to bring America home to God, family, and country.
[00:10:20] At a time in history when America is being attacked from within by those who have a secular, socialist view of America,
[00:10:27] this book quenched my thirst for a perspective of the America I know and love.
[00:10:32] Learn about America's founding principles.
[00:10:35] How do the grievances in 1776 compare to us today?
[00:10:40] Knowledge is the key defense against the vicious enemy, tyranny.

[00:11:01] Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives.
[00:11:04] Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building.
[00:11:08] Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble, which are perishable?
[00:11:13] Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent?
[00:11:17] In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system.
[00:11:21] When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn?
[00:11:25] Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets?
[00:11:30] Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government.
[00:11:32] But gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth.
[00:11:36] Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy.

[00:11:51] Give your wealth a solid foundation with gold and silver.
[00:12:01] Did you hear that?
[00:12:02] That's the sound of energy, and America has plenty.
[00:12:05] Power the Future is dedicated to those who power the future for all Americans.
[00:12:09] It is their hard work, sweat, and determination that keeps the lights on in all American homes.

[00:12:26] Daniel is an expert in energy and environmental issues as they pertain to jobs, rural communities, the U.S. economy, international affairs, and our national security.
[00:12:35] If the radical environmentalists have their way, our natural resources will be less available and less affordable.

[00:12:44] We advocate for America's energy independence and national security.
[00:12:49] Visit PowerTheFuture.com, and let's work together to keep the lights on and bring America home.
[00:13:03] And we have returned.
[00:13:05] You're listening to CSC Talk Radio.
[00:13:07] This is Beth Ann.
[00:13:07] Well, it is Christmas Eve, and we did know that Daniel was going to be boarding a plane at some time this morning,
[00:13:16] but he thought he would be able to join us in the second segment.
[00:13:19] That has not happened yet as far as the phones go.
[00:13:22] So I am at least going to carry on for him.
[00:13:26] And if you go to their website, and this is what sparked my title of today's show,
[00:13:34] they have six Christmas wishes.
[00:13:38] And they explain each one of them, which I wasn't going to do because I thought that he was going to be here with us.
[00:13:44] But I think you can understand.
[00:13:46] There are six of them.
[00:13:48] Christmas wish number one is roll back the EPA's new natural gas tax.
[00:13:54] And he went on to explain.
[00:13:56] You can find these on their website.
[00:13:58] It's PowerTheFuture.com, PowerTheFuture.com.
[00:14:01] And so these are things, and most of these are things he thinks that Trump should do on day one.
[00:14:10] Christmas wish number two, lift the LNG export ban to restore American energy dominance.
[00:14:19] I didn't realize they'd close the export, but I guess because we weren't producing much of it.
[00:14:26] Christmas wish number three is cut the IRA's wasteful spending.
[00:14:34] Christmas wish number four, bring back our gas stoves and restore consumer choice.
[00:14:41] Remember that when they decided nobody by a certain year, they didn't want anybody to have gas stoves,
[00:14:46] and they said that's not what we say, and we read it to them, and it is what they said.
[00:14:50] And then we see Kamala Harris cooking in her kitchen on Christmas, and it was a gas stove.
[00:14:58] Well, Christmas wish number five, open up more federal leasing to unleash America's energy potential.
[00:15:13] And Christmas wish number six, replenish the strategic petroleum reserve.
[00:15:20] Our reserve is dangerously low, dangerously low.
[00:15:26] It's only there for emergencies.
[00:15:28] Biden has used it for political purposes.
[00:15:31] Let some of it go so that the price of gas would go down, you know, before certain elections.
[00:15:38] But recently, Daniel was on Fox, and he was on Cavuto, I believe it was Cavuto where he was.
[00:15:50] Three ways Trump can give a jolt to energy sector and empower Americans.
[00:15:56] Energy sector needs a jump start, so Trump should eliminate tax on natural gas, which was one of his wishes right over here.
[00:16:04] He says they snuck in at $891 billion and improperly named it the Inflation Reduction Act.
[00:16:15] And we know all about that.
[00:16:17] And we know what they have done, and they continue to do, because that's part of their CR.
[00:16:22] Yes, it is.
[00:16:24] It's part of that continuous resolution.
[00:16:26] And number two, he says, reopen our electricity production plants.
[00:16:32] He said Biden made green jobs promise in Massachusetts.
[00:16:38] On this site, he stood and said they'll manufacture 248 miles of high-tech heavy-duty cables,
[00:16:48] ostensibly to connect offshore wind farms to the onshore electrical grid.
[00:16:54] That was the purpose.
[00:16:56] Two years later, this was in 22, two years later, reality has set in.
[00:17:04] Construction of the onshore plants is in limbo due to opposition from local groups.
[00:17:10] And the offshore wind farm?
[00:17:13] Well, this summer, 2024, a 300-foot blade broke and fell into the sea, closing the beaches in Nantucket.
[00:17:26] And the wind farm was shut down.
[00:17:29] And it has still not reopened.
[00:17:33] This is the green agenda in a nutshell.
[00:17:45] Have you heard anything about this?
[00:17:48] We wouldn't know it if it wasn't for Daniel.
[00:17:50] Meanwhile, he says, the people of Massachusetts have some of the highest electricity rates in the country,
[00:17:59] on top of the lost jobs, tax revenue from the coal plant.
[00:18:05] And he calls it a standard green failure.
[00:18:09] And number three, expand oil production.
[00:18:15] He goes on and he says,
[00:18:18] because most of Biden's punitive energy actions were so unpopular,
[00:18:25] they couldn't pass Congress and were implemented via executive orders,
[00:18:32] announcing dates for regulation land leases,
[00:18:36] reversing bans on offshore and federal land production,
[00:18:42] reopening Alaska.
[00:18:43] These all send a market signal,
[00:18:46] which will have an immediate impact on oil prices.
[00:18:50] That's what he wants Trump to do on day one.
[00:18:55] Expand the oil production.
[00:18:57] Open up Alaska.
[00:18:58] Get these things going.
[00:18:59] He says, sending a signal to the American oil and gas exploration and production is back.
[00:19:05] What Trump calls drill baby drill
[00:19:08] is the greatest hedge against foreign cartels like OPEC.
[00:19:13] And the greatest signal to lower costs for consumers.
[00:19:18] According to Daniel, and we've heard him say it over and over again,
[00:19:23] when we start becoming productive,
[00:19:31] energy not just sufficient but dominant,
[00:19:35] then we will see things in America open up.
[00:19:38] We will see prices going down.
[00:19:42] The energy to take care of your home, whether it's winter or summer,
[00:19:47] will be cheaper, more economical.
[00:19:52] You can go to grandma's house more often.
[00:19:56] I hope my South Carolina people are listening.
[00:19:59] I do miss my children.
[00:20:02] It's Christmas Eve.
[00:20:04] What are your wishes?
[00:20:07] We sit in anticipation here in America.
[00:20:09] Everybody's looking,
[00:20:11] not to tomorrow so much as we are,
[00:20:14] but we're looking to January 20th.
[00:20:17] And what changes are going to be made in this country
[00:20:21] to get us back to that commonsensical thing
[00:20:25] of America first.
[00:20:28] That doesn't mean isolationism.
[00:20:31] That doesn't mean selfishness.
[00:20:33] When America is first and America is productive
[00:20:36] and America is strong,
[00:20:38] the world is stronger.
[00:20:39] The world is happier.
[00:20:44] We have been put in such danger
[00:20:47] because of the open borders.
[00:20:50] We have been seeing women murdered and raped.
[00:20:56] Children have disappeared.
[00:20:59] Illegal alien children, they've disappeared.
[00:21:05] You don't lose hundreds of thousands of children by accident,
[00:21:11] my friends.
[00:21:13] The regime that's been running this country is evil.
[00:21:17] And I'm not just talking about Joe.
[00:21:22] They're evil.
[00:21:24] We have been finding out more and more
[00:21:26] that Joe, they're admitting,
[00:21:28] had dementia when he was vice president.
[00:21:31] So this regime, this deep state,
[00:21:34] whatever you want to call them,
[00:21:37] knowingly, knowingly elected a man for president.
[00:21:40] They hit him in the basement.
[00:21:41] They didn't let you know the truth of what was going on.
[00:21:47] And he's not been the one running this country.
[00:21:53] There's nothing more of an insurrection than that.
[00:22:00] And recently, they're giving him credit.
[00:22:02] He's not the one doing this.
[00:22:03] He may be the one signing the papers,
[00:22:06] if he can still sign his name.
[00:22:10] I don't say that in just.
[00:22:11] My mother had dementia.
[00:22:13] My mother had Alzheimer's.
[00:22:14] It's a horrible, horrible disease.
[00:22:18] Your loved one is still with you physically, but they're gone.
[00:22:22] It's painful.
[00:22:23] But under Joe Biden's regime,
[00:22:28] they have commuted 37 of the 40 inmates that are on death row.
[00:22:36] Vicious, horrendous murderers.
[00:22:40] Do you think these 37 murderers will appreciate the Christmas gift
[00:22:46] that has been given to them, a gift of life,
[00:22:48] even though they have to remain in prison?
[00:22:52] Unless they've been saved, I seriously doubt it.
[00:22:57] Now, there are those who don't believe in the death penalty
[00:23:00] because they don't trust the state.
[00:23:03] I kind of get that.
[00:23:05] But at the same time, that's not scriptural.
[00:23:10] That's you trying to make a human decision and saying,
[00:23:13] Oh, I can't be God.
[00:23:14] I can't take that life.
[00:23:15] But God said that life must be taken.
[00:23:21] That is between him and God.
[00:23:24] You must obey God.
[00:23:26] And that's a sad thing to say on Christmas Eve.
[00:23:31] I have something very happy to tell you when we come back.
[00:23:34] You're listening to CSE Talk Radio.
[00:23:37] This is Beth Ann.
[00:23:39] It's Christmas Eve, and we have lots to be thankful for.
[00:23:42] We'll be right back.
[00:24:00] Looking for someone to educate and encourage your group?

[00:24:16] Beth Ann has been behind the microphone for almost 30 years
[00:24:19] fighting to bring America home.
[00:24:21] She brings her unique perspective,
[00:24:23] drawing from her many life experiences
[00:24:25] and her love for God and country.
[00:24:27] As a young girl, her family moved from the big city
[00:24:29] to a small rural community
[00:24:30] where she would grow up, marry her husband,
[00:24:33] and together raise five sons.
[00:24:34] Along the way, she worked in factories, retail,
[00:24:37] sales, and medical clinic,
[00:24:38] and now lights up the airwaves on CSE Talk Radio.
[00:24:41] As the D.C. occupiers continue to drive our society
[00:24:45] into socialism and anarchy,
[00:24:47] the message to Bring America Home
[00:24:48] grows more crucial by the day.
[00:24:50] Beth Ann brings that message with contagious passion
[00:24:53] wherever she speaks.
[00:24:54] Schedule Beth Ann to speak to your group today
[00:24:57] by calling 573-796-2166.

[00:26:00] Hello, I'm Mike Lindell, the inventor of MyPillow.
[00:26:03] For the longest time, I've wanted to come out
[00:26:06] with the world's most comfortable bedsheets.
[00:26:08] But up until now, I haven't been able to find anything
[00:26:11] that held up to my high standards.
[00:26:13] I finally found the best cotton in the world
[00:26:16] in a region where the Sahara Desert,
[00:26:18] the Nile River, and the Mediterranean Sea
[00:26:21] all come together to create the ideal weather conditions
[00:26:24] for growing cotton.
[00:26:25] My new Giza Dream bedsheets are made
[00:26:28] with this long staple cotton,
[00:26:30] and I guarantee they'll be the most comfortable sheets
[00:26:33] you'll ever own.
[00:26:34] The first night you sleep on my sheets,
[00:26:37] you'll never want to sleep on anything else.
[00:26:39] The Giza Dream sheets are available in a variety of colors.

[00:27:00] For centuries, those who raise, breed,
[00:27:03] and work with animals have been revered
[00:27:05] and lauded for what they do.
[00:27:06] Today, across America, the rights to own
[00:27:09] and raise animals are under attack
[00:27:10] by animal rights activists
[00:27:12] and their increased influence on government
[00:27:14] and non-government agencies.
[00:27:16] This onslaught regularly violates protection
[00:27:18] from legal search and seizure
[00:27:20] and a citizen's right to due process of the law,
[00:27:22] all of which are outlined specifically
[00:27:24] in the U.S. Constitution.
[00:27:26] Protect your animals, your animal enterprise,
[00:27:28] and your property from this abuse of power
[00:27:31] with a membership to the Cavalry Group.
[00:27:33] Membership provides immediate access to their team
[00:27:36] to protect law-abiding animal owners
[00:27:38] and animal enterprise
[00:27:39] against unwarranted search and seizure
[00:27:41] and false claims.
[00:27:42] They also work to protect their members' interests
[00:27:44] legislatively at the local, state, and federal levels.
[00:27:47] Get the shield that protects you,
[00:27:49] your animals, and your property.
[00:27:51] Join the Cavalry Group today.
[00:27:52] Call 855-748-4210
[00:27:55] or go to their website at thecavalrygroup.com.
[00:28:04] And we have returned.
[00:28:06] You're listening to CSC Talk Radio.
[00:28:07] This is Beth Ann.
[00:28:09] You know that we have a devotion every morning
[00:28:11] here in the office.
[00:28:12] And don't think we are saints.
[00:28:16] We just need it really bad.
[00:28:18] But this was on December 6th.
[00:28:21] And it's out of John.
[00:28:23] And I'm not going to read the whole devotion to you.
[00:28:25] It says,
[00:28:26] The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
[00:28:30] And after the devotion,
[00:28:33] they have a little poem
[00:28:35] or a quote from someone.
[00:28:38] This is from Oswald Chambers.
[00:28:41] He is God incarnate.
[00:28:44] Not man becoming God.
[00:28:47] But God coming into human flesh.
[00:28:50] Coming into it from the outside.
[00:28:53] His life is the highest and the holiest
[00:28:56] entering in at the lowest.
[00:28:58] The lowliest door.
[00:29:01] Think about that.
[00:29:03] You know, my daddy used to say,
[00:29:05] Don't leave that baby in the manger.
[00:29:07] He's not in the manger.
[00:29:11] And I have done many cantatas.
[00:29:15] I have sung in them.
[00:29:17] And I have directed them.
[00:29:19] And I directed a cantata one time
[00:29:21] called From the Cradle to the Cross.
[00:29:26] And in the nativity scene that we had set up,
[00:29:32] someone had,
[00:29:33] in fact, they passed away.
[00:29:35] They were killed in a horrible,
[00:29:36] he was killed in a horrible motorcycle wreck.
[00:29:40] But it was,
[00:29:42] they created a star.
[00:29:43] And I can't think of what,
[00:29:45] it's kind of an origami type thing.
[00:29:47] And it lit up over the manger.
[00:29:49] But then they had a shadow
[00:29:52] of a cross
[00:29:53] on that manger.
[00:29:55] Because that's the purpose
[00:29:57] of the birth.
[00:30:00] Now, the good news
[00:30:01] that I want to share with you.
[00:30:03] You don't hear much good news
[00:30:05] out of Hollywood.
[00:30:08] Denzel Washington
[00:30:10] was baptized
[00:30:12] and receives
[00:30:13] a minister's license.
[00:30:16] Denzel Washington
[00:30:17] was baptized
[00:30:18] over the weekend.
[00:30:21] The two-time Academy Award-winning actor
[00:30:23] received a certificate of baptism
[00:30:25] and a minister's license,
[00:30:26] which allows him to pursue ordination
[00:30:29] if he chooses
[00:30:31] after the baptism,
[00:30:33] which took place
[00:30:35] at the Kelly Temple Church of God
[00:30:36] in Christ in Harlem,
[00:30:39] according to the deadline.
[00:30:41] But I guess that's a news service.
[00:30:45] The First Jurisdiction Church
[00:30:47] of God in Christ
[00:30:49] Eastern New York
[00:30:50] streamed the service
[00:30:52] on Facebook.
[00:30:56] In one week,
[00:30:57] he said,
[00:30:58] I turned 70.
[00:30:59] It took a while,
[00:31:01] but I'm here.
[00:31:05] And he gave thanks
[00:31:06] to his wife,
[00:31:07] Paulette Washington.
[00:31:08] And she stood up,
[00:31:09] I watched this this morning,
[00:31:11] and gave a testimony.
[00:31:12] And it was the cutest thing
[00:31:14] of how they met.
[00:31:15] And she said at first,
[00:31:17] it didn't mean anything to me.
[00:31:18] And he's standing behind her
[00:31:19] going,
[00:31:20] Oh no!
[00:31:20] And he's like,
[00:31:20] he hit his heart.
[00:31:21] You know,
[00:31:24] I'm pretty sure
[00:31:24] he's heard it before.
[00:31:26] Washington spoke
[00:31:28] about his faith
[00:31:29] in an essay
[00:31:30] for Esquire
[00:31:31] last month,
[00:31:32] saying,
[00:31:34] he was determined
[00:31:34] to share his beliefs
[00:31:36] and experience
[00:31:37] in an industry
[00:31:38] where talk of religion
[00:31:39] is rare.
[00:31:41] I'm unafraid.
[00:31:43] I don't care
[00:31:44] what anyone thinks.
[00:31:46] See,
[00:31:47] talking about the fear
[00:31:48] part of it,
[00:31:49] you can't talk like that
[00:31:51] and win Oscars.
[00:31:52] You can't talk like that
[00:31:55] at a party.
[00:31:56] You can't say that
[00:31:58] in this town,
[00:31:59] he wrote in the essay.
[00:32:01] It's not fashionable.
[00:32:03] It's not sexy.
[00:32:05] But that doesn't mean
[00:32:06] people in Hollywood
[00:32:07] don't believe.
[00:32:10] There's no such thing
[00:32:12] called Hollywood
[00:32:13] anyway.
[00:32:14] What does that even mean?
[00:32:17] That, to me,
[00:32:17] means a street
[00:32:18] called Hollywood Boulevard.
[00:32:22] It's not like
[00:32:23] we will meet somewhere
[00:32:24] and discuss
[00:32:25] what we believe.
[00:32:26] So I don't know
[00:32:27] how many other actors
[00:32:28] have faith.
[00:32:30] I don't do a poll.
[00:32:32] How would I find that out?
[00:32:34] I mean,
[00:32:35] there's no such,
[00:32:36] there's no church
[00:32:36] actor meetings
[00:32:37] I've been told
[00:32:39] I've been to.
[00:32:41] Washington also
[00:32:43] revealed
[00:32:44] revealed
[00:32:44] that he was
[00:32:46] 10 years sober
[00:32:49] after drinking
[00:32:50] two bottles of wine
[00:32:51] a day
[00:32:51] for over a decade
[00:32:53] and doing a lot
[00:32:54] of damage
[00:32:55] to his body.
[00:32:57] He said
[00:32:58] he was 60
[00:32:59] when he stopped drinking
[00:33:00] and he had developed
[00:33:02] a drinking pattern
[00:33:03] in the late 1990s
[00:33:04] that would span
[00:33:05] 15 years.
[00:33:07] And while he never
[00:33:08] got strung out,
[00:33:09] he said,
[00:33:10] on alcohol,
[00:33:11] he was drinking
[00:33:12] far more
[00:33:13] than the recommended
[00:33:14] amount.
[00:33:15] I've done a lot
[00:33:16] of damage
[00:33:17] to my body.
[00:33:18] We'll see.
[00:33:19] I've been clean.
[00:33:21] Be 10 years
[00:33:23] this December.
[00:33:25] I stopped
[00:33:26] at age 60
[00:33:26] and I haven't
[00:33:28] had a thimble's
[00:33:29] worth since.
[00:33:31] Things are opening
[00:33:32] up for me now
[00:33:33] like being 70.
[00:33:35] It's real
[00:33:36] and it's okay.
[00:33:38] This is the last chapter.
[00:33:40] If I get another
[00:33:41] 30,
[00:33:42] what do I want
[00:33:43] to do?
[00:33:44] My mother made
[00:33:45] it to 97.
[00:33:48] He said in his
[00:33:50] little testimony
[00:33:50] as I watched it
[00:33:52] when he'd complain
[00:33:53] about not getting
[00:33:54] an Oscar,
[00:33:56] his mother would say,
[00:33:57] man gives awards,
[00:33:59] God gives rewards.
[00:34:03] He came from
[00:34:04] a Christian background.
[00:34:07] What's the saying?
[00:34:08] Raise up a child
[00:34:09] in the way
[00:34:10] you should go
[00:34:10] and he will not
[00:34:11] depart from it.
[00:34:13] Sometimes we take
[00:34:14] little journeys
[00:34:15] hither and yonder.
[00:34:19] But I want to share
[00:34:21] a couple of things
[00:34:21] with you today.
[00:34:23] Now I think I have
[00:34:24] shared this.
[00:34:26] Wait a minute.
[00:34:27] We're going to do
[00:34:27] one more little
[00:34:29] tidbit of news.
[00:34:31] This came off
[00:34:32] just as I was
[00:34:32] coming into the
[00:34:33] office,
[00:34:34] into the studio,
[00:34:35] excuse me.
[00:34:36] Rand Paul,
[00:34:36] he is on a tear
[00:34:37] here lately.
[00:34:38] At least I feel
[00:34:39] like he is.
[00:34:40] I see his notes
[00:34:41] on Substack
[00:34:42] popping up
[00:34:43] all the time.
[00:34:44] But he releases
[00:34:46] a report
[00:34:47] detailing,
[00:34:48] I think he likes
[00:34:50] the doge,
[00:34:52] one trillion
[00:34:53] dollars of
[00:34:54] government waste.
[00:34:56] And here are
[00:34:58] the worst offenders
[00:34:59] and it's in this
[00:35:00] article.
[00:35:31] article.
[00:35:32] I can't even
[00:35:33] count that much.
[00:35:34] But that's over
[00:35:37] a trillion dollars
[00:35:38] in government waste,
[00:35:39] including things
[00:35:40] like ice skating
[00:35:41] drag queens,
[00:35:43] $12 million
[00:35:44] Las Vegas
[00:35:46] pickleball complex,
[00:35:47] 4,840,000
[00:35:53] Ukrainian influencers
[00:35:54] and more.
[00:35:56] No matter how
[00:35:57] much money
[00:35:58] the government
[00:35:58] has wasted,
[00:35:59] politicians
[00:36:00] keep demanding
[00:36:01] even more.
[00:36:02] Now he was upset
[00:36:02] about the CR bill.
[00:36:03] I know that.
[00:36:04] The Department
[00:36:05] of the Interior
[00:36:06] spent $12 million
[00:36:08] on Las Vegas
[00:36:09] pickleball complex.
[00:36:10] I think he's
[00:36:11] mentioned that
[00:36:11] several times.
[00:36:12] He must have
[00:36:12] really been upset
[00:36:13] about the pickleball.
[00:36:15] And the Department
[00:36:16] of Interior
[00:36:17] also spent
[00:36:18] $720,000
[00:36:19] on wetland
[00:36:21] conservation
[00:36:21] projects
[00:36:22] for ducks
[00:36:24] in Mexico.
[00:36:27] He says,
[00:36:28] I have a lot
[00:36:29] of problems
[00:36:30] with federal
[00:36:30] spending and now
[00:36:31] it's time
[00:36:32] to hear all
[00:36:33] of them.
[00:36:33] The National
[00:36:34] Endowment
[00:36:35] for the Arts.
[00:36:36] Oh yeah,
[00:36:37] remember when
[00:36:37] they were giving
[00:36:38] the money to the
[00:36:38] arts during
[00:36:39] the COVID?
[00:36:40] $10,000 grant
[00:36:42] to support
[00:36:43] a cabaret show
[00:36:44] on the ice skates
[00:36:46] focused on
[00:36:47] climate change.
[00:36:49] Wait a minute.
[00:36:50] Ice and
[00:36:51] climate?
[00:36:51] Okay.
[00:36:53] The NEA
[00:36:54] also spent
[00:36:55] $365,000
[00:36:56] to promote
[00:36:57] circuses
[00:36:59] in city parks.
[00:37:02] $500,000
[00:37:03] from the State
[00:37:04] Department
[00:37:04] to expand
[00:37:05] U.S.
[00:37:05] Embassy
[00:37:05] in Ethiopia.
[00:37:07] He goes on
[00:37:08] and on
[00:37:09] in this.
[00:37:10] And I think
[00:37:11] we all know
[00:37:13] they don't care
[00:37:14] about how hard
[00:37:16] you have to work.
[00:37:17] They're going to
[00:37:18] spend that money
[00:37:19] and run you
[00:37:20] into debt.
[00:37:21] I encourage you
[00:37:22] to read my
[00:37:22] Substack from
[00:37:23] yesterday.
[00:37:24] I talked about
[00:37:25] that very thing
[00:37:26] and I was
[00:37:27] pretty pleased
[00:37:28] with what I
[00:37:29] wrote.
[00:37:30] You just go to
[00:37:31] Substack.com

[00:37:34] it on your

[00:37:38] just pop up.
[00:37:38] Every time I put
[00:37:39] one up there
[00:37:40] it'll pop up
[00:37:40] and you can
[00:37:41] read it.
[00:37:41] And you can
[00:37:42] meet other
[00:37:42] people there
[00:37:43] like Rand Paul.
[00:37:44] If you're

[00:38:30] chocolate.

[00:39:08] The American
[00:39:08] Crisis Continues,
[00:39:10] Beth Ann elaborates
[00:39:11] on the crises
[00:39:12] America faces
[00:39:13] today.
[00:39:13] Invasion at the

[00:39:41] Liberty is always
[00:39:42] in the hands of

[00:40:02] MyPillow no longer
[00:40:03] have the support of

[00:40:14] When Mike started
[00:40:15] MyPillow, it was
[00:40:15] just a problem-solution
[00:40:16] one product company.
[00:40:18] Well, since then,
[00:40:19] with the help of his
[00:40:20] dedicated employees,
[00:40:21] they now have
[00:40:21] hundreds of products,

[00:40:23] even know about.
[00:40:24] To get the word out,
[00:40:25] they are having a

[00:40:59] I am Elmer Heinrich
[00:41:01] asking you to
[00:41:02] consider Immuno 150,
[00:41:04] the Rolls Royce
[00:41:06] of nutritional
[00:41:06] supplements.
[00:41:07] There's nothing
[00:41:08] like it.
[00:41:09] Now, we believe
[00:41:10] it contains
[00:41:10] everything the body
[00:41:11] needs to get
[00:41:12] healthy and stay
[00:41:13] healthy.
[00:41:14] Its 150 ingredients
[00:41:16] include 70 plant-derived
[00:41:18] colloidal minerals
[00:41:19] plus 80 carefully
[00:41:21] chosen nutrients.
[00:41:22] For sure, it's not
[00:41:24] made out of fruits
[00:41:25] or vegetables that
[00:41:25] have very few
[00:41:26] minerals.
[00:41:28] Now, if you want
[00:41:29] a supplement that
[00:41:29] makes a tremendous
[00:41:30] difference for most
[00:41:31] people within 60 days,
[00:41:33] Immuno 150 may be
[00:41:34] the answer.
[00:41:36] Ask your friends
[00:41:37] about it.
[00:41:37] They are probably
[00:41:38] one of our customers.
[00:41:39] Or, you can call
[00:41:40] 888-316-2224
[00:41:44] or you can look us
[00:41:45] up online at
[00:41:49] Immuno150.com.
[00:41:50] That's 888-316-2224
[00:41:54] to order
[00:41:55] Immuno 150.
[00:41:57] And we have
[00:42:04] returned.
[00:42:05] You're listening to
[00:42:06] CSC Talk Radio.
[00:42:07] This is Bethann.
[00:42:08] I have two poems
[00:42:09] that I want to share
[00:42:10] with you and I'm not
[00:42:11] going to read them
[00:42:11] in their entirety.
[00:42:13] I'm not going to
[00:42:13] read this one anyway
[00:42:14] in the entirety.
[00:42:15] And maybe it's
[00:42:16] the one I should.
[00:42:16] I don't know.
[00:42:17] I've read it before.
[00:42:18] It's the soldier's
[00:42:19] night before Christmas.
[00:42:21] It starts out
[00:42:22] towards the night
[00:42:23] before Christmas.
[00:42:24] He lived all alone
[00:42:26] in a one-bedroom house
[00:42:28] made of plaster and stone.
[00:42:30] I had come down
[00:42:31] the chimney
[00:42:32] with presents to give
[00:42:33] and to see just who
[00:42:35] in this home did live.
[00:42:36] I've changed my mind.
[00:42:38] I'm going to read
[00:42:38] the whole thing.
[00:42:40] As I looked all around
[00:42:41] about,
[00:42:42] a strange sight
[00:42:43] I did see.
[00:42:44] No tinsel,
[00:42:45] no presents,
[00:42:47] not even a tree.
[00:42:49] No stocking
[00:42:51] by the fire,
[00:42:53] just boots
[00:42:54] filled with sand.
[00:42:55] On the wall
[00:42:56] hung pictures
[00:42:57] of a far distant land.
[00:43:00] With medals
[00:43:01] and badges
[00:43:02] and awards
[00:43:02] of all kind,
[00:43:03] a sobering thought
[00:43:05] soon came
[00:43:06] to my mind.
[00:43:07] For this
[00:43:08] house was different,
[00:43:10] unlike any
[00:43:11] I'd seen.
[00:43:13] This house,
[00:43:14] this was the home
[00:43:16] of a U.S. Marine.
[00:43:19] I heard stories
[00:43:21] about them.
[00:43:22] I had to see more,
[00:43:23] so I walked down
[00:43:25] the hall
[00:43:25] and pushed open
[00:43:26] the door,
[00:43:27] and there he lay
[00:43:28] sleeping,
[00:43:29] silent,
[00:43:30] alone,
[00:43:31] curled up on the floor
[00:43:32] in his
[00:43:33] one-bedroom home.
[00:43:36] He seemed
[00:43:37] so gentle,
[00:43:38] his face
[00:43:39] so serene.
[00:43:41] Not how I pictured
[00:43:42] a U.S. Marine.
[00:43:46] Was this the hero
[00:43:47] of whom I just read?
[00:43:49] Curled up
[00:43:50] in a poncho,
[00:43:52] a floor
[00:43:52] on his bed.
[00:43:55] His head
[00:43:56] was clean-shaven,
[00:44:00] his weathered
[00:44:00] face tan.
[00:44:02] I soon understood
[00:44:04] this was more
[00:44:05] than a man,
[00:44:06] for I realized
[00:44:07] the families
[00:44:08] that I saw
[00:44:08] that night
[00:44:09] owed their lives
[00:44:11] to these men
[00:44:11] who were willing
[00:44:13] to fight.
[00:44:15] Soon around
[00:44:16] the nation
[00:44:16] the children
[00:44:17] would play,
[00:44:18] and grown-ups
[00:44:19] would celebrate
[00:44:20] on a bright
[00:44:21] Christmas day.
[00:44:22] They all
[00:44:23] enjoyed freedom
[00:44:24] each month
[00:44:25] and all year
[00:44:26] because of Marines
[00:44:28] like this one
[00:44:29] lying here.
[00:44:32] I couldn't help
[00:44:33] wonder how many
[00:44:34] lay alone
[00:44:34] on a Christmas
[00:44:36] cold eve,
[00:44:37] on a cold
[00:44:38] Christmas eve
[00:44:39] in a land
[00:44:40] far from home.
[00:44:42] Just the very
[00:44:43] thought
[00:44:43] brought a tear
[00:44:45] to my eye,
[00:44:46] I dropped
[00:44:47] to my knees
[00:44:48] and I started
[00:44:48] to cry.
[00:44:50] He must have
[00:44:52] awoken
[00:44:52] for I heard
[00:44:53] a rough voice.
[00:44:55] Sad adult cry,
[00:44:56] this life
[00:44:57] is my choice.
[00:44:58] I fight
[00:44:59] for freedom,
[00:45:00] I don't ask
[00:45:01] for more.
[00:45:03] My life
[00:45:03] is my God
[00:45:04] and my country
[00:45:05] my core.
[00:45:09] With that
[00:45:10] he rolled over,
[00:45:11] drifted off
[00:45:11] into sleep.
[00:45:13] I couldn't
[00:45:14] control it.
[00:45:14] I couldn't.
[00:45:16] I continued
[00:45:17] to weep.
[00:45:18] I watched
[00:45:20] him for hours
[00:45:20] so silent
[00:45:21] and still
[00:45:22] I noticed
[00:45:23] he shivered
[00:45:24] from the cold
[00:45:24] night's chill.
[00:45:26] So I took
[00:45:27] off my jacket,
[00:45:28] the one
[00:45:29] made of red
[00:45:30] and covered
[00:45:31] the smerene
[00:45:32] from his toes
[00:45:33] to his head.
[00:45:34] Then I put
[00:45:35] on his t-shirt
[00:45:36] of scarlet
[00:45:38] and gold
[00:45:38] with an eagle
[00:45:40] globe
[00:45:40] and anchor
[00:45:41] emblazoned
[00:45:42] so bold.
[00:45:43] And although
[00:45:44] it barely fit me,
[00:45:45] I began
[00:45:46] to swell
[00:45:47] with pride
[00:45:48] and for one
[00:45:49] shining moment
[00:45:51] I was
[00:45:52] Marine Corps
[00:45:53] deep inside.
[00:45:55] I didn't
[00:45:56] want to leave
[00:45:56] him so quiet
[00:45:57] in the night,
[00:45:58] this guardian
[00:45:59] of honor
[00:46:00] so willing
[00:46:01] to fight.
[00:46:02] But half
[00:46:03] asleep
[00:46:03] he rolled
[00:46:04] over
[00:46:05] and in a voice
[00:46:06] clean and pure
[00:46:07] said,
[00:46:09] Carry on,
[00:46:09] Santa.
[00:46:10] It's Christmas
[00:46:11] Day.
[00:46:12] All
[00:46:13] secure.
[00:46:15] One look
[00:46:16] at my watch
[00:46:17] and I knew
[00:46:17] he was right.
[00:46:18] Merry Christmas,
[00:46:20] my friend.
[00:46:21] Semper Fi
[00:46:22] and good night.
[00:46:24] As you all
[00:46:25] know,
[00:46:26] I have a brother,
[00:46:27] a Marine,
[00:46:29] who suffers
[00:46:30] from his service.
[00:46:35] He is a hero.
[00:46:37] Henri,
[00:46:38] sometimes I get
[00:46:39] pretty upset
[00:46:40] with him,
[00:46:41] but he is my
[00:46:42] hero.
[00:46:44] The other one
[00:46:46] I wanted to share
[00:46:46] with you
[00:46:47] is a prayer
[00:46:47] of Valley Forge.
[00:46:49] So this Marine
[00:46:50] fights for freedom
[00:46:52] keeps us secure.
[00:46:55] But it started
[00:46:56] back here.
[00:46:58] Young Isaac Potts
[00:46:59] rode down
[00:47:00] one summer day
[00:47:01] with Reverend
[00:47:02] Snowden
[00:47:03] on his
[00:47:03] dapple gray.
[00:47:04] Near where
[00:47:05] the Revolution
[00:47:06] Army lay,
[00:47:07] the dreary
[00:47:08] winter of that
[00:47:09] dreadful war.
[00:47:10] And he said
[00:47:11] to him,
[00:47:12] Now,
[00:47:13] let me,
[00:47:14] I implore.
[00:47:15] Now,
[00:47:16] let me,
[00:47:17] I implore.
[00:47:18] Explain to you
[00:47:19] with simple
[00:47:20] southern lore
[00:47:21] how I came
[00:47:22] to understand
[00:47:23] at Valley Forge
[00:47:24] the nation
[00:47:25] of our fine
[00:47:26] commander
[00:47:27] George Washington.
[00:47:28] I,
[00:47:28] a Quaker
[00:47:29] and a Tory,
[00:47:30] felt that war
[00:47:31] against Great Britain's
[00:47:32] glory,
[00:47:33] whose fleet
[00:47:34] and armies
[00:47:34] covered land
[00:47:35] and sea,
[00:47:36] could only end
[00:47:37] in abject misery.
[00:47:39] I supervised
[00:47:42] the grinding
[00:47:43] of the grain
[00:47:43] at this most
[00:47:44] stressful time
[00:47:45] of the campaign.
[00:47:46] The soldiers,
[00:47:48] cold and hungry,
[00:47:49] ill-equipped,
[00:47:50] were all but ready
[00:47:51] to give up the ship.
[00:47:53] Yet,
[00:47:55] and yet this one
[00:47:56] good man,
[00:47:58] who at the helm
[00:47:59] knew freedom
[00:48:00] from the king's
[00:48:01] oppressive realm,
[00:48:02] was the one
[00:48:03] and only way
[00:48:05] to guarantee
[00:48:05] the rights
[00:48:07] of man,
[00:48:08] the cause
[00:48:09] of liberty.
[00:48:11] There,
[00:48:12] in those woods,
[00:48:13] I heard a plaintive
[00:48:14] sound,
[00:48:14] as a man in prayer
[00:48:16] t'was quite profound.
[00:48:18] So to a sapling
[00:48:20] here I tied
[00:48:21] my horse
[00:48:22] and went to
[00:48:23] in quietude
[00:48:24] to find the source.
[00:48:26] I made my way
[00:48:28] between the leafless
[00:48:29] trees
[00:48:29] and found
[00:48:31] the great commander
[00:48:32] on his knees.
[00:48:36] his fine cocked hat
[00:48:38] and sword
[00:48:39] were laid aside
[00:48:40] as in the god above
[00:48:42] did he confide.
[00:48:45] Surrounded here
[00:48:46] with woods
[00:48:46] of oak and beach,
[00:48:48] with piety
[00:48:48] the general
[00:48:49] did beseech.
[00:48:50] The god of all
[00:48:51] herein
[00:48:52] to interpose
[00:48:53] for cause of country
[00:48:55] against the stronger foes.
[00:48:57] He pled the cause
[00:48:58] of all humanity,
[00:48:59] the cause of freedom
[00:49:01] only god could see.
[00:49:03] He laid
[00:49:04] ye crisis
[00:49:05] firmly at his feet
[00:49:06] and vowed
[00:49:08] to fight on
[00:49:08] never to retreat.
[00:49:11] Now such a prayer
[00:49:12] I'd never heard before.
[00:49:15] Such hope,
[00:49:16] such faith
[00:49:16] did from him
[00:49:17] freely pour.
[00:49:18] I left him
[00:49:19] as I found him
[00:49:20] knelt in prayer
[00:49:21] and knew
[00:49:23] I'd witnessed
[00:49:23] something
[00:49:24] truly rare
[00:49:25] for it always
[00:49:26] seemed impossible
[00:49:27] to me
[00:49:28] that a soldier
[00:49:29] and a Christian
[00:49:30] one could be.
[00:49:32] But here
[00:49:33] beneath those
[00:49:34] dismal winter skies
[00:49:35] I saw it
[00:49:37] with my own
[00:49:38] two youthful eyes.
[00:49:40] I rode on home
[00:49:42] along
[00:49:42] that well-worn trail
[00:49:44] a convert
[00:49:46] to a fledgling cause
[00:49:48] so frail.
[00:49:49] Yea,
[00:49:51] this I knew
[00:49:52] America
[00:49:53] would prevail.
[00:49:56] Like I've always said
[00:49:57] it's not just about America
[00:49:59] it's about each American
[00:50:02] and
[00:50:03] for this Christmas Eve
[00:50:05] let's all come together
[00:50:07] to see that newborn king
[00:50:09] and bring
[00:50:11] America home.
[00:50:12] Merry Christmas.

[00:51:39] into the important topics
[00:51:40] that bring America home.
[00:51:42] Do we lack enthusiasm
[00:51:48] and understanding
[00:51:49] of the word liberty?
[00:51:50] Do we weep for liberty
[00:51:52] which we have lost?
[00:51:53] Or do we simply
[00:51:53] not understand
[00:51:54] the substance
[00:51:55] and sacrifice
[00:51:56] for which we were
[00:51:57] once privileged?
[00:51:58] Liberty.
[00:51:59] Webster defines liberty
[00:52:00] as the state
[00:52:01] of being free
[00:52:02] within society
[00:52:03] from oppressive restrictions
[00:52:04] imposed by authority
[00:52:05] on one's life
[00:52:06] behavior
[00:52:07] or political views.
[00:52:09] Today we seem
[00:52:10] to want restrictions.
[00:52:12] Government micromanaging
[00:52:13] our lives
[00:52:14] but do we realize
[00:52:15] the cost?
[00:52:17] Alexander Hamilton
[00:52:18] once stated
[00:52:19] there is a certain
[00:52:20] enthusiasm in liberty
[00:52:21] that makes human nature
[00:52:23] rise above itself
[00:52:24] in acts of bravery
[00:52:25] and heroism.
[00:52:27] As a republic
[00:52:28] we the people
[00:52:29] must guard
[00:52:29] the liberty of others.
[00:52:30] We must continue
[00:52:31] the enthusiasm
[00:52:32] that will make men free.
